how can you tell if your buddy is online on lit?

It used to give you a little list on the left in your control panel of your buddies and who was online, but i don't see that anymore. after some experimenting, all I can spot is a little + symbol next to the buddy's screenname on the huge list of members online at the moment.

If you open the 'Quick Links' thing on the top right of this page you get a buddy list option which opens a list of your buddies conveniently sorted into 'online' and 'offline'. I think that is vaguely similar to what you want!
