I just went through this issue, and had several people tell me that sexual activity among people under 18 will be rejected. I've done one story that started after the main character was just over 18. He was able to discuss the things he was doing in the present time, but alluded to generalized experiences he had with an old girlfriend that would have obviously been before he was 18. I did not mention specific ages. It got accepted. For example, while engaging in particular sexual activity with a new partner, it seems to be ok to say things like "I never did that before with my old girlfriend" or "I'll bet you've done these sorts of thing with your old boyfriend." I had several people here who told me that specific graphic description of sex before 18 is a no no.

In some cases, it seems pretty naive to imply that people didn't engage in sex before they were 18, but there are ways that you might work around it. In a present story I'm doing, I had to scrap a lot about of dialogue where the characters talked about masurbation as children and adolescents because I was warned that specific details would cause rejection. I converted it to a some general discussion and general allusions about playing around in the back seat in high school. I was told that I could submit it and hope, but I elected to change it.

I'm pretty new to this site, so I'm just learning the rules. If you want to see what I did in one of my stories you can look it up or you can PM me. My current work is at least 5 chapters long and I may have to split chapter 5. I'm in the middle of it now, but with re-reads and re-writes, I doubt that it will be ready for at least a week.

Aren't a lot of people 18 at some point in their last year of high school?

I graduated at 17 because I was born in December. If I hadn't been held back I would have graduated at 16.

They have a young fives program where you can hold your kid back until they are 6. You can be 19 when you graduate.

Many people do turn18 while they are seniors in high school. Some shortly there after. I suppose in some cities, there are seniors in high school who are 21, but that's another story. The trick is to somehow actually state that the character is over 18 if it isn't obvious. If you state that the character happens to be collecting their first medicare check, it's obvious. Otherwise, you could say something like "Lisa's friends on the year book staff were feeling a little jealous because she had turned 18 already and....", or "Half the senior class had been to John's 18th birthday last week and it had been one hell of a party." If you want to talk about a 15 year old sophomore losing her virginity, it could be a hopeless case.

You can certainly write it. You just shouldn't try to post it here unless you can make it believable that the characters have passed 18, even if in high school (it isn't just a matter of older seniors, you can have characters who were set back for one reason or the other for a year or two. In fact I wouldn't mind reading a story where a couple in this circumstance face issues with fitting into a younger crowd when they are older and already having sex).

The however, though, is that if you knowingly try to do something cute to circumvent the rules of posting to Literotica, you also know that you are violating the hospitality this site has extended to you for free writing/reading use. That would be pretty sleazy, wouldn't it?

The other way is to simply have it in a high school and not comment on age or grade. This way is harder, you also have to make sure everyone is adult in their mannerisms and conversation.

I am saying senioer because that is the general rule of thumb. It may have been changed since I heard about this a long time ago. Now that I feel old I'm going away.

Why you young...

In real life, the girlfriend was some years older than me. She had came back to finish her High School education, As to why... time has erased the reason.

For the life of me I can't remember if I was really eighteen or younger.

I do remember it was good stuff and that the kids in the School Bus that passed nearby was enjoying the show.

I had a great sex life in High School mostly with Girls from Other schools.
