Trump never did "drain the swamp," whatever that was supposed to mean.

Of course it's a Dem thing. DC and the area are like 95% Dem. Democrats win by Saddam-Hussein-like margins there. The entire bureaucracy is slanted heavily Dem because Dems are the Party of the State.

That only applies to municipal elections, which Dems win because most residents of DC are black and poor, not because of the civil-service vote. Most federal bureaucrats can't vote in DC anyway, they commute from MD and VA counties. And the GOP is every bit as much the Party of the State. It ain't the Libertarian Party.
