Ooh, did your hair live up to hope on the day?

My hair was sooooo nice during the trip. The environment there seems to be super good for it. Both my skin and hair behaved and weirdly, my hair felt thick like never before and was effortlessly straight. It also held the practiced style the entire day for the wedding. I just made a donut bun, not sure if it requires a picture.

Here (home) my hair is something I really dislike and have such a hard time doing anything with it.

Agh, something saddening.
You may or may not remember when, months and months ago, I wrote a post on one of these threads about how I'd found a decapitated but otherwise intact bird by the road. Well I just found another one in a parking lot about 50m from the previous carcass!

This time it was a seagull, and if you haven't seen a seagull for a while: They are huge birds. Maybe 2-3 times the height and weight of a typical pigeon. So I don't really want to say "Sadistic monster on the loose" 'cause that sounds paranoid as heck, but other than a human there's not much other than dogs that could take down a seagull 'round here and I very much doubt that a dog would be so clean and tidy with it.

I chipped and then ripped my nail something awful. And because I could not put a bandage to cover the ripped stump of a nail immediately because I was not home, it ripped even further and kinda turned into a hangnail too. Ouch.
