He had smiled at her, and he looked so handsome. "I know my father does not love me, neither of them really showed it." She furrowed her smooth brow in a frown. Her naïveté was obvious. "I'm not lustful... I've never been with a man. I thought it was meant to be passionate, fateful, not like the way Luris was." His words came back to her, and stung her. She looked into his eyes. "I am not my mother, she gave birth to me, but that is all she ever did that benefited my life. In every other way she controlled and ruled it. I was not allowed to be my own woman." She knew her earlier seductive behaviour had made him say those things, and she felt bad. "I was merely curious. I do not lust after your...your...um..." She blushed beet root red as he grabbed her small hand and placed it, moving it over his length.
The first things she felt were warmth, and a growing hardness. She gasped, trying to pull her hand away as her face reddened. He was large, that much she could feel. Larger by far than her husband had been, and she wondered. She looked up at him. "You don't need to touch it to make it so hard?" Her fingers curled over the bulge and she could feel it growing under her touch. She shivered, frowning, his words about her mother playing on her mind. She wasn't her. She wasn't some horrible woman who only slept with men to anger her husband and disgrace herself. She looked up at him, his eyes were full of intensity. "That look in your eyes, that is lust." Maia blinked at him, her eyes confused. She wanted him, but she wanted to feel like she was wanted too, and not some necessity. "You only want me because if you deflower me, it will be another notch in your campaign against my father. I will be nothing more to you than a nameless spoil of war." She lowered her head, her soft dark hair falling slightly over her saddened face.
"You have killed my husband, my mother. This means you have freed me from the bonds of that life, so now when my father, Helene's father, is dead I am of no more use to you. You will kill me, when all I want is to be free to find my path." He pulsed under her hand, and she gasped a little. "I will not deny how handsome you are, how I have thought about your hands on me, your lips on mine, but now I do not have a husband anymore, surely I can choose how to take my first lover? You would not love me. I am nothing to you."
