I've done it at last!

Colly, on the other hand (as if we're surprised), has the top rated story on the whole site.

Her novella, The spy wore Petticoats, is currently sitting highest with a perfect score of '5', from 51 voters.

Well done Colly. Fantastic work.

I just pilfered this story onto my flashdrive to read at home. Thanks for posting this. If you didn't, I probably wouldn't have found it.

Hey Mat,
Would you like me to spoil that by rounding up a few friends and dotting in several 'fives'.
No me neither, why spoil such an achievement. As for Colly, the only person who seems unsure about her talent is Colly herself, or is it her natural modesty?
Chris :rose:

No way, I'm very happy with my very low score. :D

As for Colly, I agree. She's the only one who doesn't seem to realise how good she is.

I absolutely loved it Shang, and I never would have even known about it if you had not started this thread, so thank you on both accounts. I voted and left a comment, but my comment didn't stick either. :( Maybe it'll show later.

At the risk of taking your limelight, I can beat that.

My poem 'She' is floundering with a wonderful 2.67. :D :nana: :D

I have one even lower.... Been up for like 4 months and not a single vote *giggles*

Jealous. Wish someone would think my crap could be brilliant, just not sure. Mine is always strictly the case of one or the other.

PS :nana: for such a great response regardless

What genre is it in? That seems to affect it a lot. My sci-fi stories do better than the NC ones that I have, it seems.

Although my quasi-celeb sci-fi one "How I Became Immortal" seems to have annoyed people.

Most of my group sex ones do well, except for "House Perks- Chapter 2", it seems.

Oddly enough, one of my lowest-ranking ones is my lesbian story, "Susie's Freshman Year".

There are two kinds of readers on this site. Without being judgemental, some have "read it all" and are looking for refreshing uniqueness, and some want to simply get off. Seeing how your story fared in the recent anon contest, you can tell which type most AHers are. That should be good enough for even you. :p

Since I'm mathematically inclined, that story was on my reading list anyway. I just hadn't gotten around to it, but I'll go read it now.

Edit: Okay, I read it. I'm sorry I might have screwed up your average by giving you a five, but I'm completely in love with this story.

oh, goody!
I figured that would happen...
Maybe Shang will be kind and delete one of my duplicate comments, please?

I think I've met this person before, haven't you?

(found on the feedback portal just now)

I don't think its Juan, not his style, no mention of 'men's real love' and his father. This one seems a tad more crude in his vocabulary.

Maybe Juan has a brother? :D
