In my case, it was the "Purple Jesus" that we mixed in a plastic garbage can back in college days!
(and before you ask, we did rinse out the plastic can thoroughly before use!)

Well you start with good 'ole North Carolina moonshine, add other alcohol(s) for flavor (bourbon, rum, your choice) and then Grape Juice for coloring. It was a party drink for large groups, but with a sign that said "Drink at your own risk".
