I am thinking of writing a story about 2 young men who fall in love with rach other.
So, one is 24-25 years old, the other is a couple years older. Both have never had a gay relationship before. They meet at the gym in their college or something and they get attracted to each other.
Glances then stares then smiles. Then both will try to approach each other as subtly as possible for fear of rejection. Maybe they go out for a beer or to watch a game and then the kiss happens.
During the relationship, the younger will be from a poor family while the other will be rich and influential.
Something happens that makes the younger man want to get away from his boyfriend. The older jock will not accept the situation because he is in love with him.
He will try to apologize at first, then little by little lose his patience as he sees his lover going out with girls. He will use his power and influence to get back his boyfriend to him.
So I have a few questions:
1) Has the issue of jealousy in gay couples been addressed before?
2)I like to add the power play in the story. The 27 year old man will get fed up with the rejection of the 24 year old because of a silly mistake or because of the fear of his emotions and will use force/power to make him his again.
Any suggestions, ideas, scenes, plots.... are welcome
