Adray smiled wider, then walked with her up to an observation deck. He had never actually seen a sandstorm up close before, and didn't intend to miss it. He stepped into the bubble of protective transparisteel, and looked around. He had never before seen the technology to make transparent metal before. His own ship had viewports, but they were digital, images were taken from cameras on the outside of the ship.

"I've never been inside a sandstorm. My planet was mostly forest and water. This should be interesting. And I'm glad I could help you feel better."

"I've never been inside a sandstorm. My planet was mostly forest and water. This should be interesting. And I'm glad I could help you feel better."

She stood there as the wind began to pick up.. The sand began to violently blow about. Harsh and reckless, it brought excitement to Adray's eyes as she watched him. Then it began to get wicked. The sand thrashing about against the ship, making it shudder harshly. The ship shook for a moment causing her to knock them both over and landing on top of him.. She found herself getting off of him and her eyes catching his for a moment..

"I'm terribly sorry! I really should not be this clumsy.."

She paused there looking at him, having no idea why she was blushing or even frozen in this position..

Adray grinned. He almost hadn't noticed her until she landed on top of him, and as he looked into her eyes, he saw the same power as the storm in her. He found the storm to be exciting, but she was something else entirely.

"They have a saying on my world, and though it is in regards to water, sand is also something it applies to. 'Over time, water can wear down the hardest stone.' This is not because it is hard, but rather, because it is soft and penetrating."

He watched her, seeing her blushing a bright crimson, and smiled, trying to keep her calm.

His eyes and his words were making her strangely hot.. Her breathing was heavier and it was like her body was whispering gently what to do.. She leaned over and pressed her lips hard against his. It was an unexperienced kiss but it was as if everything she could not say had been transferred with it.. She found herself running a hand through his hair and brushing against his cheek.. What in the world was she doing?

Adray blinked slightly, not having expected the kiss, but started kissing back, putting his arms around her waist. He could feel her emotions through the kiss, and was slowly losing himself in it.

What was happening to her? She keep wanting to get closer and closer to him. All her inhibitions were falling away as she kissed him and pulled him even closer.. She never wanted to let go and continued brushing her lips continuously against his.. Then she heard someone coming down the hallway and broke the kiss suddenly panting a bit. She helped him to his feet quickly and stood there as a man asked if the storm was dangerous and she nervously replied..

"The ship should weather it quite..well.. Just make sure everyone stays inside.."

The man walked off and out of sight.. She found herself kissing him again and holding him close, panting as it was again broken.

"I.. I mean.. We.."

She was quite lost for words and was not quite sure what she should say..

Adray looked into her eyes, unable to think of anything to say. The kiss had been extremely passionate, and she seemed to be learning how quickly. A small part of his mind wondered if she was pulling his knowledge of kissing out of his mind. He didn't care, in reality, all he wanted at that moment was to make sure she knew that there were other things in life than just the Order. He held her close, his hands resting lightly on her hips, and then kissed her again, pulling her even closer, pressing her against him.

Ebaree blinked a few times as equipment was loaded on the ship, and a sandstorm started to rage around outside. She had forgotten something. What was it? Oh! Of course! Her bike! She could never leave it behind on a planet! Thankfully, when she came here, she had stowed it in a safe place that, by sheer luck, happened to be nearby.

Sprinting down back into the hold, she darted passed Erika, the Imerial and Niomi, only managing to get out the words "Forgot something be back soon!" Before she dived outside of the ship and into the storm.

It kinda stung a little as she surged forward, but her fur was protecting her against the worst of it. She knew this wouldn't take long

This time he was kissing her. His lips devouring hers as he pulled her even closer.. It was extremely statisfying, but scary at the same time.. As it wore on and her hands wandered over him she knew she was losing herself in this feeling.. They broke the kiss both a bit dizzy and she had to sit down..

"So this is what I've been missing all this time..."

She smiled looking at him differently than before..

Erika shook her head, puzzled slightly by the furry creature. She had never seen one like her, let alone one so...flighty. She turned back to observing the Jedi and the Imperial officer, even as she closed the inner door against the storm. The boarding ramp wouldn't take any damage from such a storm, but it wouldn't do well to get any of that stuff inside.

SiRen continued his preflight checks, making sure to take extra care with the instrumentation. He figured they'd have to rely on the radar system to navigate while inside the sandstorm, and didn't want to take any chances.

Adray breathed heavily, still pressed close to Shiara. He realized they'd probably better slow down a bit, and smiled at her.

"We'd probably better take it a little more slow. After all, I wouldn't want to end up making you feel uncomfortable or out of place. Besides, we have some work to do. We'll need environment suits to work out there."

"No EBAREE WAIT" Niomi knew Ebaree was light to light for a Tatooine sandstorm. Following Ebaree to the close by bike shelter (she had had a good start) and finally reaching it while Ebaree got her bike out. "That was really dumb of you" suddenly she felt like she didn't want Ebaree to get hurt ever. Niomi loaded up on the back of the bike back to the ship....

Ebaree grinned up at Niomi as they recovered her swoop bike and stowed it away. She scratched her head. "ehhh... yeah. But I just couldn't bear to leave my swooper behind" She turned around as if examining something, then spun around again and hugged Niomi around the waist. "Thanks"

Erika checked to make sure everyone was on, then closed the boarding ramp and the inner hatch. She eyed the storm troopers warily, then laughed, before turning to the officer. When she spoke to him, it was in a low, almost conspiratorial tone, with a big, impish grin on her face.

"That armor wouldn't stop a bullet, much less some of the heavier stuff we have on board. Why do they bother wearing it?"

SiRen noted that the outer ramp had been closed, and then radioed the spaceport control, before starting to lift the ship out of the docking bay with the skill that could only come from either a machine or someone who'd spent their entire life in the cockpit of a ship.

She nodded still feeling a little of that remaining warmth. She found herself feeling strangely happy now, and she smiled at him. They walked over to the place with the enviromental suits in silence then she managed to muster out a sentence..

"Back there.. I.. When we.. I.. well.. I liked it alot.."

Adray smiled, and hugged her again, then started counting suits, while talking to her. He smiled, as there seemed to be enough for the people that will need to work on the ship. He turned to her, giving her a total.

"Fifteen suits, all with oxygen and heating and cooling systems. The gloves will work for handling the tools we'll need. I'm guessing they were used for EVA work, in case something happened and they needed to fix the ship midflight."

He grinned wide, and reached up, brushing a fuzzy out of her hair.

Niomi

"Cmon Ebaree lets go to the living room" (or whatever it is called) and sat down on a couch and layed down with Ebaree on her stomach. "I enjoy this" she said blatantly. Niomi sat up and started to give Ebaree a back rub...

She blushed and smiled at him still not completely sure what had gotten into her. She soon tried to regain herself and remembered they did indeed have work to do..

"So what else needs to be done and when do you think they'll be back with the parts?"

Adray smiled, and touched the communication device, speaking in low tones into it. He learned from SiRen that they had just lifted off, and were just entering the full brunt of the storm. He grinned, as Erika swore in ancient Terran, and shook his head, cutting off the communication.

"SiRen figures they'll be back in about 2 hours. So we have that much time to make preparations. I hope to be off this sandy rock by tomorrow, but I doubt we can make it in time."

She thought what would happen after her assignment.. She might never see him again..

"Adray.. When we get back to base.. My assignment will be over and I'll be sent on another one... I guess what I'm trying to say is.. Well I.."

What was she trying to say? She was a member of the jedi order.. She had responsibilies...

Adray smiled, and looked at her. He then took the necklace he was wearing off, and gave it to her. He intended to speak with this order, if for no other reason than to make sure they understood how wrong they were.

He put his necklace in hand.. All she could do was stare at him.. No one had ever shown her this much love or acceptance..

"I can't accept this.. Your sister gave this to you.. It's all you have left.. Maybe if you come with me, the order will station us together since we handled the situation so well.."

It was an empty hope.. She was being irresponsible and selfish.. How was this going to work out?

Adray smiled again. He had more than just the necklace, but the necklace was a gift that symbolized love. Still, she was right about one thing, it was important. He thought carefully, then shrugged. The best thing to do was to see if she could be stationed on the fully completed Athalanta.

"We have a lot of work to do. We can worry about all that later. Besides, maybe they'll station you as a liaison onboard the Athalanta when it's completed."

It was a nice thought, and maybe it could happen if he requested her services by name.. She was either blinded with emotion or actually seeing things clearly for the first time as the walked to the bridge again.. Everything seemed so different now.. She was still the same jedi she always was, but slightly different.. Just then she felt it.. Someone besides Adray's companions would be finding their way to the ship.. More than one person infact.. She didn't know who they were, but not all of them seemed to have directly good intentions..

"It appears we will have company soon.. We should watch the terrain for visitors beyond your friends Adray.. "

Jon Neizu sat in the freighter canteen with his storm troopers, he was starting to dislike the Jedi.
They had keeped to themself and had not bothered to even talk to him and only saw him as a lowly Imperial officer and decided to take action.

He left the Canteen and want to look for SiRen or anyone for that matter to voice his complete.

SiRen was on the bridge, flying the ship, not using his hands, but rather, directly connecting to the ship's systems, while going over parts lists. He was being very thorough in his assigned task, and looked up to see Erika running diagnostics on some of the internal lighting systems. He then saw Jon enter the bridge, and smiled. The human intrigued him, as Adray wasn't exactly a diehard soldier. This man went by the book, unlike Adray, who tended to fly by the seat of his pants.

"Having fun, Officer?" SiRen joked, one of his rare attempts at humour.
