Hi boys...
Sorry for my long absence. I decided to just take off for a awhile and rethink things that I've been doing. I sometimes take road trips and this was a combination road trip, boat trip and finally plane trip. I ended up down in Belize and kind of forgot to come home I guess. I just got tired of painting and working, so ran away.

I had refused any new commissions back in June of last year and worked my ass off to complete everything I and committed to. Now, I'm free to start over on my terms... whatever those are.

I also broke up with that guy I had been dating and decided that I didn't want to hear him calling all the time begging for forgiveness. I know it sounds harsh, but the time for amends was before I got so pissed... not after.

So that's that.

For the first time in probably 15 years, I have no idea what I'm going to do next. I'm just sort of lounging around now. Probably head out east to stay with some friends there when the snow finally goes away. After a couple of months in Belize, I simply won't be able to deal with the cold right now.

Anyway, I'll try to stop by and spend a little more time here and I do have a story that I'll finish up sometime this week and post.

That's great Jenn! Be the master (or mistress) of your own domain. Sort it all out and come back recharged with a fresh new perspective and I bet your art will take off to the next level.

Just one thing I can suggest, come on back to Cali for a visit! It's almost beach time and you know that favorite beach of yours is gonna be in full bloom soon...

Hey Jen!! Absolutely no need to apologize!!! We all knew you'd be back. I'm afraid if I was in Belize I'd have a hard time coming back also. Don't worry about the weather here though 'cause it's getting that springtime smell in the air.

Thanks again for checking in again :rose: You do know this is about the only time I ever post on here don't you? You just seem to bring to bring me out of my shell.
 
I want to join in with the others that are glad you are back. I just went through your collection - awesome shots. This is my favorite and I look forward to more.

Hello,

Sounds like you are having a metaphyiscal experience and Belize is a good place to take the time to reflect and re-consider things. I applaud your choices and know that all will be fine no matter which route you decide to take.

I'm feeling much better now... just sort of burned out for a while there, but the batteries are feeling pretty good again
 
God, I was so excited...

I thought he had it, but oh well, he's having a good year and I'm hoping it's just a matter of time before that next win.

These are oldies, I haven't resized or even really gone through any of my more recent photos for a while. I hope you still like these though, I still like them.

I'm sure that he's already thinking about winning the next one.

And when you get excited, anything can happen, and we usually end up getting excited.
 
Well, he's on track now

At least that's my opinion of things... I'm liking what I'm seeing

I don't think I've seen this one before. It is very nice. It looks like "Art Teacher" vintage.
