Man, I miss the good old days when people actually got together and had actual conversations on these threads.

I almost feel the same way, however upon reflection I find that most of my angst about interaction around here is my own failings, for lack of a more suitable word.

I don't have the same kind of energy or care, or 'want' that I used to. And so find myself not giving into my minds desire to delve into conversational situations here all that much.
I think also it could be a matter of 'repetitive fatigue', trying to attempt the same thing over and over.
I dunno, I definitely empathise with your sentiment though.

I mean conversation - you know, talking back and forth to each other about anything, on a continuous basis, not just dropping by and making a couple of brief remarks and then leaving. Friends that I've known for a long time don't seem to be around much anymore; that could be part of the difference.

Dang! I'm pretty sure my leisure suit got burned up on the fire (I put plenty of gasoline on it...then I just kept on truckin!)

It's not safe out there...that's why I always stay home on Saturday night!
