This is a celebrity story for crying out loud. Save the real plots for real stories. Right now you are working with Jessica Alba. Have her walk down the street knock on the door ask if there are any men in the house who know what her name is and she goes down on the first person to answer yes to that question. It really is that simple and any work you put in beyond that is both over worked and soon to be under appreciated. I just wrote and submitted a Jess story that is a tribute to Red Carpet Facials done about a year back. I really think you guys are over thinking a simple category. Its like incest, you don't need a plot and in all honesty having one doesn't really help much overall.

well, I personally am bored to tears with the "simple plots", where the reader can just fill in the blanks with the name of a starlet.

Obviously, looking at the Toplist indicates that not everyone agrees - a lot of simple stories do well. But so do some heavily plotted ones.

Since simple stories can easily be plottedwithout the benefit of Story Ideas, I enjoy encouraging the more adventurous sort.

I agree that non plot stories suck as a whole. I still stand by my opinion that incest and celeb stories are wasted when you put a plot behind them. Unless you do something like Batgirl or something (even then) any plot you put in is wasted and half the readers will skip right past it.

By contrast, Erotic Couplings, Loving Wives, Romance, Novels and Novellas are all very obviously plot driven. I just think you are wasting energy trying to plot this out. Its like putting a plot to the Matrix. It didn't need one. They were flying and dodging bullets and knocking each other through walls. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, plot driven.

I respectfully disagree there, friend... to a certain point. There are stories that are way too overwritten, and there are others that are underwritten to the point of being bland and childish.

I dont want a literary masterpiece with this work, as like most of my other stories I'm thinking this one's gonna be essentially a stroke-piece, but I want something that MAKES SENSE and COULD possibly happen in a real-world situation, not be so totally outside the realm of possiblity to make it just stupid.

That's just the way I look at it with this. I'm appreciating the ideas and seeing what I can come up with with each one, when I get the time, because I want to work this into somethin hot and plausible. Thats just me.

BTW all my incest stories had plots, they were skimpy yes and simply lead the reader from one sex scene to the next, but everyone who read em appreciated the characters and the stories and want more of the same.

well, I prefer a bit of plot, more than just " I met X, she was hot, we fucked". I do agree that capturing the distinctive characteristics of the celeb is crucial - that's why well known celebs with strong traits work best. Like The Flinstones ( Bedrock Bedrooms remains one of my fave celeb series).

Well yeah sure, there'll be a little bit more than that uber-simplicity!

It's just I dont want to go into intricate detail with this, because as an author and something of a perfectionist (to my limited ability) I like to get things done RIGHT - with celeb its just too damn hard to do

Bedrock Bedrooms was a very good read for me, but I want to do a Jessica Alba work, not a character workin like a fanfic of Nancy from Sin City, or Alex from Dark Angel.
