Where I lived before we always had a few shops that stayed open til around 11pm.... needed anything just took a wander.... moved here and man it was a culture shock... shops shut at 5pm and all my neighbours went to bed by 10pm lmao.... you'd look out the window and all the lights would be off.... very eerie
