a.j.angel said:oh I do like it, its quite decadent.
fingertips press against yours briefly, before sliding across the inside of your wrist and slowly down your forearm.

This week is dealing with principals, union reps, and superintedent....not going so wellBut, I think/hope all will end up okay.

How's your week going?![]()

I think we are being offered the usual zero percent increase. If our union had fought and won getting the cost of living increases automatically, back when they first set up the first contract, I would be making way over six figures. Some of the districts around here have a top of the scale pay of $94,000. LA won't see that in my lifetime. When I started we were the top paying district in the area, now I think we are something like third from the bottom, oh well, I didn't become a teacher for the money, I didn't become a teacher for the money... If I repeat that as a mantra will it help pay the bills?![]()
When can Sue and I retire? Heck once we do, you will be able to retire from the job as "recipient of venting" so it will be a triple retirement (even if you do still have to go to your second job )
I have a stack of essays to read. I HATE reading essays. I like things with right or wrong answers.
The dog next door finally stopped barking. How come dogs don't get hoarse from constant barking? Today it was 2 hours straight. I got a headache but he seemed fine LOL
Other than that, not much going on.![]()

jushorny said:Ah, yes the school year is well underway![]()
Sue figures another 10 years for her, though, that might change tomorrow.
I'd never be able to deal with the dog barking for 2 hours, shit, without getting myself in trouble here...know anyone who can get you a gun?![]()
sharingfantasies said:Believe me ... I have considered it. Although I used to say the same thing about the crows at the last place and after 10 years they are still alive. But I might actually get up enough nerve to say something to the neighbors.. "I was wondering if your dog is all right, it has been barking for two hours. Do you know if the vet can do anything about its problem?"![]()
I will just leave out the thought that naturally follows that. <grin> The only good thing I can say about it, and I say it frequently to keep from making a human outline in the fence from my side to theirs is that the dog has a dog bark and not one of those yappy things. If it was a yapper I would calling the animal control people... I can't stand yappy dogs. shudder...
So what are you designing/decorating these days?
jushorny said:I have just a few minutes to pop in and have a quick beer. I'll be back in awhile, I hope.
Do you ever see the neighbor? Maybe you could say something, or maybe call the animal control people?
Sue has decided to stick it out, at least for awhile longer, even though her principal seems to be gunning for her![]()
sharingfantasies said:That is a shame when that happens. Tell her to keep her head up because there is one rule that is definite, Principals get moved around teachers don't. She will be there longer than any principal. She needs to keep anecdotal records like she would for one of her kids.. in case she needs union backing later. She should also make sure that anytime she is around the principal that she has a witness with her.
I am sorry. Sure sounds like a long year to me.
jushorny said:Yep, you are correct and she is taking those measures. She has the school union rep as well as district union rep involved. There will be no more meetings between sue and principal without the union rep!
So, I wonder where that joey has been lately????

jushorny said:I'm here with beer and wine, should go great with the pizza you brought. We can sit, eat, and discuss the earth shattering news from joey![]()
