Mines a quill pen on a journal, it needs little if any scrutiny. I don't think it took a week when I changed the one on my other account.

Look at your Control Panel where you change it. I can't remember for sure, but the new one may show there.

They do when you change it, but as soon as you leave the page only shows the one you have already, one you pick disappears

I think it's more to do with the spate of 'gentlemen' who tried to use their 'little generals' for their avatars, so now they all have to he manually approved

If little boys could be trusted to keep their little boys in their pants it would be loads quicker
