Just because they play the song....

Yeah, that's me. Sweet and innocent. *sigh*
Wanna help corrupt me, bella??

"Ride, Sally ride!"

Ugghhh. Great I thought Henry the 8th was a bad song to have buzzing through my head, now I have...
do your ears hang low...
ladadadada!!!
Any suggestions for making a song go away? I am willing to try almost anything.

Never & Rosebud

Oh Never you are right again. Thank you, I don't think that there is to many people that haven't seen Ghost....and there you go gus, there is your answer
Thanks for your indulgance ladies. The song is copyright 1910 and is from the entertainment genre that I study. I was surprised to see the reference. I don't know the film but I will make a point of seeking it on video.

SallyGirl - It was always "Do your balls hang low" when I was involved with the Army!

Thanks again,Ladies

When swimming in de sea,
And an eel bites your knee,
Dat's a morey!

A New Zealznder man,
With a permanent tan,
That's a Maori!

If yer vitamins be
Mostly C, D, & ,E,
Take some more A!

With the high price of feed,
It's for farmers in need,
That some mow hay!

My new ray gun tries
To put out both your eyes,
It's a Moe-Ray!

If King Kong has gone flat,
Rent the flick Vampire Bat:
That's some more Wray!

With appoligies to Spider Robinson.

Someone please!!! Help me. I am being haunted and need a way to get these songs out of my head, though...

Oh where oh where has my Izzy gone
Oh where oh where can she be
With her loving heart
And her sensualness
Oh where oh where can she be

My Bonnie lies over the ocean
My Bonnie lies over the sea
My Bonnie lies over the ocean
Ohhhh bring back my Bonnie to me
Bring back
Ohhh bring back
Ohhh bring back my Bonnie to me to me
Bring back
Ohhh bring back
Ohhh bring back my Bonnie to me to me

Can we do a round???? I'll start.

Row, row, row your boat,
Gently down the stream.
Merrily,merrily, merrily, merrily,
Life is but a dream.

Bella,

The post was fucked up long before you got here. I started it with a platitude in order to make a point, and it degenerated into "fun" based on the whimsical members of our little village. I just love this place!!!

I am the very model of the modern major general...

It's our old friends....

Gilbert and Sullivan brought to us by that scintilating new singing star, Killer Muffin. Wow, this place never ceases to amaze me, but then again I am awed by the telephone.

Pardon me entering this thread with a serious question Rosebud, but would you mind telling me how you know this very British song?

I don't think that there is to many people that haven't seen Ghost

I remember the song from the radio way back. Probably late 60's or early 70's. Can't remember who did it though.

I'm one of those people that hasn't seen Ghost. ;)

LMAO blue darlin, if you ever heard me sing, well lets put it this way, scintillating would NOT be the word you'd apply to it. I have the most beautiful singing voice you've ever heard, but my vocal range is only two notes, they're both half steps and I can never find them. The rest of the time, well, suffice it to say dogs enjoy singing along with me.

So, KM....

What's so bad about having dogs singing along with you?? It surebeats a bunch of drunks. (You don't give your dogs beer, do you)?

blue

*sings with the largish group of drunken rugby players.. "I have a lovely bunch of coconuts, there they are standing in a row..."*

Well, actually, now that you mention it, I have been known to hang out with drunks who like to sing along...
