I don't think there are any really serious side effects to teasing a woman. However, some women (me included) will get the female equivalent to blue balls, which is a rather painful cramping in the lower abdomen that takes FOREVER to go away. I don't do well with orgasm control, anyway, because after a few times of bringing me close and stopping, I'll just shut down completely, which I think has become a learned response to keep the pain away. After that, there's no bringing me back to it. Just make sure your partner doesn't have either of these problems, or extended orgasm control/denial is rendered useless.

Prolonged edging of males - potential danger

Speaking as a male who GREATLY enjoys being edged by a woman for hours, as I got older I DID learn there are some potential dangers. If a man is like me with BPH (enlarged prostate) and he engages in this activity, there is a very real chance of causing ruptures to the small blood vessels in the prostate (vertices) and ending up with blood in your semen or urine. I have had this happen several times after periods of long edging and it sent me flying to the urologist. Blood in your semen or urine is always a danger sign, but being edged for long periods of time without orgasm can make this more likely if you are older and have BPH. Just a word of caution for aging fans like me.
