During Trump's administration, He "Promised" to revamp the IRS tax form 1040 . He bragged that the form was too long and too complicated for the "average" worker to complete themselves ! He swore that HE would get the form 1040 cut down to a "Post Card". He continued, imagine THAT ! He can have people complete HIS new 1040 in no longer than 10 minutes !

Now that it's tax season, have you seen the"new" 2025 IRS form 1040 ? A document that WAS a simple two page document is NOW a four page compilation of confusion !

Maybe next year those will be removed. The reduction Trump provided in 2026 was reduced by libs in order to get the bill passed.

Also, Trump has already shielded financial corporations from reporting such hacks to the public. So I'll refrain from giving my information to such parties. The Feds have e-fle online for a few qualified folks, also.

Oh, and the 1040 is still the same size: 8 1/2 x 11 if that helps. [The 1040ez is no longer used.]
