Just yesterday, the Obamanation was trying to take credit for the rise of the markets and tomorrow they will try to take credit for the booming Christmas sales, but we all know what that really is, the scent of optimism; the sense that the future will be better, the sense that the black cloud of pessimism is dissipating thanks to the election of a person not engaged in the politics of division and the burning hate for those outside of his cabal of voters.

Here's a counter-prediction: The sky is not falling. Business will be able to expand and grow knowing that the government is now not fully vested in draining their profits to throw at green energy and social justice. Most be people will be perfectly happy with the new administration. Democrats will have two choices, to come to the table and bargain for a health care replacement or to double down on nasty and do everything they can to protect a failing policy. I think we assume that they will take the latter course.

Not everyone has the skill or temperament to go to college. Those people need jobs and protection too, not just to be ignored, called deplorable and left out of the Democrat calculus. Some common sense border control will protect those jobs, those workers, those people and their way of life.

You cannot assume that college can perfect a society anymore that it can abrogate Human Nature. Watch for a backlash against the snowflake culture.

I think the grieving is worse because their press served them so poorly with its polling and then the reporting on the polls. They knew that this election was won. They were elated in the weeks leading up to the actual vote full of I told you so.

Hell, my guy didn't come anywhere near winning, and I'm not all that pissed about it.
