So, I guess some of my rambles should probably cover what occurred in my life while I was away. Around Thanksgiving, we adopted a new puppy from the Humane Society for my son for his Birthday. He had his heart set on a puppy, ideally a small one, but he just saw a picture of this dog, and wanted that one. They think she is a Catahoula Leopard Dog/Labrador Retriever Mix. I am sure on the Catahoula, and she is likely a mix, but really it could be anything. Things are going really well, mostly. She is attached to the kid, which was what we wanted. Picking up most things, but we were struggling a bit with the chickens. Not only the wanting to chase them sometimes, but sometimes she also catches them and tries to play with them. yeah, I have only had rescues and strays. I have always been a pet person. I spent years volunteering at a Humane Society, and employed by the same one part time for a while. I prefer mixed breed.
