Yeah Chas, everyone agreed to move towards the Stadium. I think we should fast forward to there.

Speaking of which, I got hung up last night and so forth, but right now I'm spending some time contemplating how to timeskip us forward out of the stall we're in.
My gut says I should position us near the stadium from which Raven, Green Arrow, and Ghost Rider just came, as it would be tactically advantageous for us to neutralize the power of The Bestowed before we move on to the core battle for the soul of The Gem Cities.
Do any of you have any objections to that, or any other suggestions, or any other general input?
Varshanka, what do you think?
My timeskip has glossed over some important character interactions.
But Wildcat, Static, Green Arrow, anyone-- if you guys want to flashback at all to the goings on and conversations during the trek across the city, I'm open to that.
We just need to get moving again, there's fictional people dying out there and I would hate to see this tale run aground when there's many thrilling heroics to be had.
And that's not a bad thing really. lolIs that Thea? Hey what are you doing over there! Nice to see you.
Ruby has just Dialed H-E-R-O. Which means she's going to turn into some random superhero or superheroine with random powers. But rather than my picking them and getting basically whatever power I want whenever I want, I would like you guys to pick.
You can either name a super power or powerset, or name a superhero(ine), and I will either pick an existing hero with that power, or become that named hero, or come up with a Captain Ersatz that has that power or is inspired by that named hero.
Hopefully that's not too dense an explanation.
Bonus points for giving me awkward or unexpected powers or characters, stuff that forces me to think on my feet, this is meant to be a challenge!
(Though I would love the occasional dramatically-timed epic Hero, this should be a last-ditch thing, like we'll never survive unless I get something conventionally useful. A very rare occurrence.)
Extra bonus points for giving me a Legion of Superheroes member or Ben 10 alien that fits the above criteria.
Thanks, guys!

Ahh sorry Chas. I don't mind editing if you want me to. Say take out the ones that I killed and just leave it at the ones I injured.
So once these blood mages catches on to the fact that the Spinosaurus has all that blood for them to play with, Garfield will be in deep deep trouble. He will most likely transform into a swarm of insects to prevent getting boiled since insects doesn't have blood but lymphatic fluids.
This is fine with your plans Chas?
Thus far, it's been cool for you to write your side of the fight as well as your enemies'. And you've been doing brilliantly at that-- appropriately gauging the challenge level your enemies present to the characters you're playing. The Ajagar are meant to be scary strong but not unstoppable. You've nailed it.
The Blackadder were meant to be scary bladed death en masse, but you've appropriately played The Inverse Ninja Law and played merry hob all over them.
The Bestowed are scarier still, but fewer, and you guys have done great with that too, some very inventive stuff.
You're totally showing you've earned your stripes with this.
But in a boss fight, things will get a little more challenging. I will be taking direct control of "boss characters," and we'll play fights with them the way we would in player-versus-player scenarios. Which is to say:
Character 1 makes a move against (Mini-)Boss A, describing their intended result without actually depicting it connecting-- your post does not assume it connects.
Then (Mini-)Boss A posts, depicting whether the hit connects, or if they dodge or block in some way-- and may then post a counter-attack of some kind, which will also not be assumed to connect...
...until Character 1 comes back with their reply, describing their efforts, successful or unsuccessful, to defeat that attack and respond in kind.
Just as you would not assume the reactions or responses or the like of a fellow player's character, at least I hope you wouldn't, don't assume those for a boss-fight enemy. And neither will I assume those of your heroes.
There's a lot of "honor system" in this, because I'm sure for many of you the temptation will be strong to "god mode" and declare that all attacks miss you or are useless. But the trust in you will be strong to accurately and precisely represent your character's abilities and capabilities-- and to create a sense of drama and struggle. If your character just shrugs off everything every enemy throws at them, there's no sense of danger, no sense of triumph when you win, no chance for soulful reflection afterwards (we won but at what cost?).
Similarly, I pledge from the bottom of my silicon heart that I will keep a healthy mindfulness of your characters' abilities with regards to whether you hit the boss fight enemies and how easily you defeat them.
Shiny?
So, for the record, the high-powered Bestowed found outside the stadium count as mini-boss characters. So that's a boss-fight, I'll be playing those Bestowed in whatever fights involve them.
And the threat that you guys will face as a team (hopefully) at the river between the cities counts as the main boss fight, so I'll be manning the trenches there.
Is that okay with everyone?
Just going to reiterate this here.
I don't want to cramp anyone's style, but this is how I'd like to proceed.
Gotcha boss.....![]()
No worries!
No need to edit your post, it was bad-ass.
But just from now on, cool?

Yeppers.![]()
Thank you, dear!
Can't wait for Snart and Mick's response when she snaps back up from that though......
