Kavanaugh -Kava NOPE?

Roberts Kava-nopes!

Chief Justice John Roberts orders new investigation into Brett Kavanaugh:

Fox News personality Bret Baier on Wednesday reported that U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts has referred allegations of judicial misconduct claims against Justice Brett Kavanaugh to outside judges for investigation.

Judge Karen LeCraft Henderson, a George H.W. Bush nominee, forwarded more than a dozen misconduct complaints to the chief justice after determining they were substantive enough that they needed to be investigated by judges outside the DC Circuit Court of Appeals, where Kavanaugh was serving as a judge.

But . . . but . . . the board Trumpettes have been saying that Kav's record as a federal judge has been stellar.

On No!

Maine columnist ridicules Susan Collins’ complaint about opposition fundraising by naming her big bucks contributors

A popular columnist writing for Maine’s largest newspaper didn’t have a lot of sympathy for embattled Republican Senator Susan Collins’ complaints about the over $3.6 million raised for her 2020 opponent.

With Collins telling reporters that she feels the money raised for her eventual opponent — due to her vote to seat Brett Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court — is a form of “extortion,” writer Bill Nemitz begged to differ.

“Now, with Kavanaugh safely seated on the nation’s highest court, we have Collins wrapping herself in the mantle of victimhood and expressing dismay that our national politics are driven by, perish the thought, cold cash.”

“But to bemoan the use of money – now that it’s aimed at her – as a newfound political weapon? She’s got to be kidding,” he concluded.

Gone like the Ted!

Mitch McConnell claims that he was "literally assaulted."

I wonder why he didn't make a police report about it.

So much for the blue wave #webelievesurvivors

I guess that only applies to liberals?
Have you heard Mitch's story of being assaulted? How much do you think he was hurt by it? Does he convince you at all that he has been injured?

I haven't heard his story.

The left has been promoting the concept that we must believe any and all allegations of sexual assault. That's because then they (think they) have a legit reason to oust Kavanaugh.

But when someone on the other side has such an experience, suddenly it's BURN THE WITCH!!!

You're hypocrites.

Btw, I experienced sexual abuse too as a young person and teen. This is probably the first time I've ever mentioned it. It didn't define me nor change the course of my life materially. For whatever reason I handled it differently than Ford or Mitch. I certainly didn't report it. It was even before the event Ford went through.

Stop changing your core beliefs based on whether you like the person involved. You should be ashamed.

Senator McConnell: "We were literally under uh assault. A muh ah, these demonstrators, I's, I's sure some of 'em were well-meaning citizens, but many of 'em were obviously trained they, to get in our faces, to go to our homes up there, tuh uh, basically almost to attack us in the halls of the Capitol."

So was he assaulted or not?

How would I know? It's not hard to find video of morons banging on the doors of the Supreme Court. The doxxing. The "ricin" hoaxes. Was "Mitch" attacked? Then or decades in the past? How would I know? Ask him. My only information on that is your "quote" above, which looks like you may have taken some liberties with.

It would have taken you about three minutes to find the video of what he said as he said it. But you aren't interested in facts, are you? It doesn't suit your Trump-minion agenda, does it?

It's more that it doesn't matter. It's YOUR beef, not mine. What do I care if Mitch was or wasn't assaulted? Why do YOU care, for that matter?

You really don't see the hypocrisy in your comments? Really?

Are you that dumb or just that prejudiced?

Typical attempt to deflect and distract from what my post was about.

When you cast doubt on a quote that you could easily have found yourself, you get called out as the troll you are. Enjoy the egg on your face.

When did I cast doubt on the quote? I said I didn't care. Which side are you arguing on this evening anyway? Do you even know?

All I asked was, why you flatly disbelieve Mitch. Don't bother answering. I was really just pointing out that you are a hypocrite. Which you keep proving over and over.

Who do you think you're fooling?

"My only information on that is your "quote" above, which looks like you may have taken some liberties with."

I, for one, think the egg on your face becomes you.

Like I said, McConnell needs some time in the basement with the Gimp.

Who is "the gimp"?

Tell me, what's your honest opinion of people that disparage others with filthy slurs like that?

Do you use the N word too? Or is it just disabilities you think it's ok to make fun of?

Maybe the Gimp is a Saudi. The Donald does so love his authoritarian murderous thug friends.

Nice deflection from the despicable behavior of your kind.

The reason I automatically dismiss your opinions as irrelevant is because you can't carry a civil conversation. You and Kirk, some of the others... have some serious anger issues.

You still haven't answered regarding your prediction that Trump will be assassinated. Inside info or just your sad, wishful thinking?

Gee I don't think I've defended someone as a good friend this week who has been caught ordering the torture, murder, and dismemberment of a Washington Post columnist who was a legal U.S. Resident that the man you carry water here for has. But, you know, the media is the enemy and authoritarian murderous thugs like Putin, Kim, and the Saudi Crown Prince are our friends and possibly an opportunity to line our pockets.

Show where I predicted Trump will be assassinated or that I called for it (or that anyone I don't have on ignore questioned me on that). I, like Rand Paul, indicated that the atmosphere is set up for assassinations, not just Trump. It's been done in the States before under calmer atmospheres than we have now, and I have plenty of experience in covering assassinations in circumstances we have here. As a journalist, I covered in live time the assassinations of Anwar Sadat, Indira Gandhi, and Yitzak Rabin. What in the hell is wrong with pointing to the danger of political atmospherics. And if you think it's wrong, why are you giving Rand Paul a pass for voicing the concern.

As a matter of fact, Trump has set himself up for it by increasingly mimicking Hitler, aligning himself with murderous thugs, being outrageous in his lies and what he supports/doesn't support as president of all Americans, his blatant financial corruption, his sexual abusiveness, his obvious obstruction of justice, his total disregard for law, his venality and vileness . . . the list goes on, created by Trump himself. And you can always count on him being on a golf course somewhere, conveniently out in the open.

You tell me what makes up the formula for an assassination stew. With Trump, I think the scenario would be the same as it was for assassinations I've covered as news--Sadat by his own disaffected armed forces, Gandhi by her own bodyguards, and Rabin by someone who had been a radical fanatic steeped in but disappointed in Rabin's delivery of his own platform.

Trumpettes of your ilk are calling for mayhem against the Clintons and now Feinstein. So, the most overt calls for violence are from your despicable side.

"the gimp" I believe is a reference to Pulp Fiction

I actually never saw that movie. If it wasn't actually a disparaging remark on someone with a disability then my abject apologies. On that point anyway. I still think the other guy, Keith, is a jerk.

Oh, I am crushed. I'll take into account that you are a voluntary minion for Donald Trump, though. :D
