It is what it is, just a learning process. My only frustration is that we weren't ever told actual rules, kind of just had to figure them out along the way. I'm actually happy a lot of my pics disappeared, it helped me figure out what's 'allowed' and what isn't.

This isn't the first time this sort of change has happened here. There have been rules about explicit pictures on these servers for a long time, and to me it really just feels like a little tweak in what's allowed. Previously there was a policy change to no depictions of intercourse or similar (I honestly don't remember the exact phrasing). And that was met with a rash of complaints from the users then. At some point it was tweaked to include only photos of yourself (permission issues???). This latest change is no images with nudity.

The big complaint with all of these changes has always been that the rules were vague. So, again, that seems to be a grumbling now. It takes time and energy to construct and enforce a strict policy. A flexible policy might be easier to implement and enforce. We might actually be better off a vague one. Just try post something, and if you're told to take it down, just abide by the requests. Eventually we'll figure it out.

Honestly, I don't have a problem with it. When I first started coming here, there weren't a lot of images posted. There was more discussion, and somewhere along the lines the image posting got out of hand. It's been reined in several times, and there is always backlash from users.

I know there are plenty of people getting upset about, I don't see why.
this is a free site and we still get to be here, hiding a photo behind a link is nothing.... no biggie!
