If I could communicate in music, I would... this one hits hard and it makes me wonder what all of your letters to your younger selves would be.

This one resonates for me - it feels like a letter to the version of myself who had to grow up too fast, who carried everyone else’s pain while quietly falling apart.
The simple phrase I got you now feels like healing… like finally becoming my own safe place and finding a little peace.

@CJamarous asked in another thread how vacation was - thought I'd bring the answer here as not to take over the other thread

Vacation was good - family vacation with a lot of sight seeing and great food! We ended up needing to stay an extra day on our way home as there was no safe way back into Minnesota on Sunday because of the winter storm. But we made it home yesterday and back to work and normalcy today!

Vacation was good - family vacation with a lot of sight seeing and great food! We ended up needing to stay an extra day on our way home as there was no safe way back into Minnesota on Sunday because of the winter storm. But we made it home yesterday and back to work and normalcy today!

Nice! Sounds like a great time! What was the best food/meal you had and the most interesting site/thing you visited? Glad to hear you had safe travels home. How much snow did you end up getting there? We only mustered about 6-7 inches here, was hoping for twice that!

Hmmm... My favorite meal was probably breakfast at Vicious Biscuit - I had the Nashville hot... Nashville hot chicken on a jalapeno cheddar biscuit with thick cut pickles and honey mustard. SO GOOD!!! However, I didn't have a single meal I didn't fully enjoy - even on travel days!!

As for snow? We got about 8" at home - but we got stuck an extra day because we had to drive through areas that got 20-24" - oh well... another good unexpected meal was had
