Myria stood at the ready. She heard THAT voice and knew who it was that had come. She had never expected the General herself to come barging in their door. Her eyes hardened with resolve as she stared at the beautiful Sylvan General.
"Relax. You don't want to hurt me."
Myria didn’t relax her guard one moment. The Sylvan General was here, in person and the hair on the back of Myria’s neck stand up. If they were going to slaughtered, she would take out as many as she could before she fell.
"I have forty handpicked warriors not a hundred yards away. You can see them from the windows of this place if you want. Strike at me if you will, Myria.....it is Myria, isn't it? I doubt any of you would escape the consequences of such an action....and you're the one supposed to be protecting him, yes? Don't do anything foolish."
The general wasn‘t looking for a reply to her question which was a good thing because Myria wasn’t looking to answer. The general was looking to talk b ut as far as she was concerned, they had little to nothing to talk about. Myria’s eyes went to her Master. The General, Kenja, if she remembered right, was looking for answers but what possibly could they know that would interest the general? Wisely, she chose to remain silent and vigilant unless she was spoken to directly.
Shimmer and the Elemental were searching these woods where the unearthly cries were thought to have come from. Shimmer wasn’t a tracker but the fae one wasn‘t bad at it either. Shimmer was good at a lot of things actually. There was no positive proof that the one they were hunting had gone missing in this area. It stood to reason that sound carries at night so it could have been somewhere else. However, here was a start.
Lyeth drew her cloak tighter around her as the freezing winds of the North bit into her skin. Siobhan had chosen this place for herself. Her Queen hadn’t been too surprised at the general’s choice, given the fact that Siobhan was who she was and nothing could ever change that. If there had been any small consolation in the matter, Siobhan was a beautiful elf. Different, but still beautiful. Lyeth quickly hurried to the frozen keep.
Siobhan was nowhere in sight when her Majesty entered the Keep. The doors quietly closed behind her. It hadn’t taken her general long to make an appearance. Lyeth waved at the mask that Siobhan wore.
"You called for me?"
“You may remove that mask, Siobhan. I have no idea why the hell you would be wearing it up here in your frozen Hell where there is no one to see you.”
No standing on ceremony here. Then again, Lyeth hardly expected such. She stepped further into the room.
“I hope I am not disturbing you, Siobhan, but I needed to speak with you on a certain matter that, as you now, has been brought to our attention.”
Lyeth lifted a hand and pushed back the fur trimmed hood on her head.
“Two things, the first one should be easy for you. I’d like a cup of hot tea please and the second thing is, our missing elf. I think she may have been turned.”
