Knuckleball (Closed)

Bella waited a while before leaving the house. She started walking off toward the stadium her mind wandering, thinking about where she was going to put all of lens things. When she finally got there she looked around for him.

Ken was halfway through practice and playing a practice game with the team. His eyes never left Anthony making sure he didn't disappear. Luckily he didn't acting as if it was normal practice. He was up to bat getting strikeout. Coach put him on the bench. Checking his phone noticing it was time Bella was coming he asked coach for a bathroom break. While walking around the stadium looking for her. He notice that Anthony was sill playing. That's taking care of one problem he thought just need to make sure Natasha wasn't around. Texting Bella -Where are you?-

-near the bathrooms- she replied back -where are you?- she asked leaning against the wall. She had never been there before and it was obvious, she was completely lost.

-I'm on my way. Stay there- He headed towards the bathrooms knowing where they were. Looking down the hall he could see her from here. "There you are Bella." He said walking towards her.

She smiled walking to meet him. "So how was practice so far?" She asked "having any better luck?" She wrapped her arms around him tight.

He smiled as she hugged him. "Yeah I'm having some luck at pitching at least." He didn't want to admit that it was coming from hate. "So I have only a couple of minutes left before I got to go back." He kissed her wondering if he wanted to go back right now.

"Well could I come watch?" She asked as she let go of him "or do you want me to just go back home?"

"Well your already here. So why not stay I got like 15 minutes left and we can leave." He said taking her hand leading her to the opening of the field. He still had some nerves about Anthony & Natasha, but didn't want to think about it. "You can sit in the bleachers."

"Okay. Thanks." She said giving him a quick kiss on the cheek before going and sitting down not too far away.

He jogged back to practice. They worked a while more. Regular batting exercises which weren't that bad he was able to get to second base twice. He would look at Bella smiling at times. He kept his eye on Anthony to make sure he wouldn't do anything to intimated her. He was calm acting like every other practice before the incident. After a few laps around the diamond. Coach let us go to the lockers to get change. Ken quickly changed not wanting to leave Bella alone and beating his teammates. He walked out of the rooms heading towards where she sat.

Natasha was standing outside of the locker room when he left, but she just ignored him, letting him go without and issue. She was waiting for Anthony not him.

Bella was still sitting exactly where she had been. "It's weird being near him..." She said as ken walked up to her "I couldn't stop thinking about what had happened..."

"It's ok remember I here for you." He hugged her for a while feeling the comfort from her. "You want to go home?" He was in good mood from practice coach had promise to give him more minutes as long as he kept that play up.

"Yeah, maybe that would be best. We still have to get your stuff put away. I doubt you want to be living out of boxes." She said getting up "lets go..."

Natasha sighed getting annoyed when he wasn't out in a few minutes. She quickly walked into the locker room looking for him.

"Come on." Wrapping his arm around her shoulders. Ken lead her out of the stadium into a well light up area. "So I forgot to tell you the good news I'm getting more minutes. Plus the all star break is coming up so I get to be home in a couple of weeks." He would've like to be announced as a all star, but new his stats weren't up to par. At least after their next 7 games he would be able to spend time with her.

"In a couple weeks... So you'll be gone for a couple weeks?" She asked "I mean that's good news that it wound be too long and that you'll be getting more playing time... I just didn't realize you we're leaving... I guess I didn't really think about that."

"I'm leaving this Wednesday and I won't be back until Sunday. I promise to call you while I'm gone, ok. It's only four days." He didn't want to leave her with Natasha still lurking around, but glad that Anthony won't be around. "When I come back there will be three home games. Then I'm yours." He leaned down kissing her cheek.

Anthony was in a foul mood. He knew that Ken meant those words. He couldn't let people find out rather be safe then sorry. Now he was losing minutes how could it get any worse. Everybody was gone from the locker room when he heard the familiar click of high heels. He forgotten about his girl well he didn't know how to explain his relationship with her. "Your lucky no one is here."

"I guess that's not too bad. When will you have to leave again after that?" She asked wrapping her arm around him and staring to walk, back towards their house. It was a little strange to think of it as their house she had to admit.

"And you're lucky I'm forgiving." She said sitting down on a bench across from him "first you have me lure him into my bed and then you have me get her alone last night, yet you did nothing. I'm tired of being your partner in crime." She said clearly annoyed "all you do anymore is ignore me when you don't have a use for me in your little scheme. I thought by now you oiled give it up and I'd be your girlfriend, being a plaything is getting a little old Anthony."

He could see the house as they approached it. "I won't have to be gone until two weeks." He smiled down at her. A lot things have happened this week, but she stuck threw with him. "Your really something, Bella."

"Don't you get it she told him. I can't risk being caught. Watch your tone if it wasn't for me. You wouldn't have anything." He said leaning towards her. He kissed her neck hoping to get out of it with sex. "Besides baby I treat you way better then any other girlfriends." He put his hands on her crotch rubbing it. "You don't need to be labeled. Cause your a real woman who doesn't need to be reminded."

"Why's that?" She asked stopping him and wrapping her arms around his shoulders "I hope you meant that in a good way or I look pretty silly right now." She said blushing.

"Then forget about about her, what was so special about that girl anyway?" She sighed feeling his hand on her "well real women don't screw their guy friends in locker rooms... Only whores do that." She said pulling away from him "I want more, dont you think I deserve that?" She asked as she got up.

"Who's knows maybe a little bit of both he chuckled at her. Picking her up into his arms. Giving her a nice lengthy kiss. "When we get home. We could finish packing faster and get to the fun part." He put her back on her feet.

That worked on her most of the time. He followed her as she got up. "She's not important to me.... Natasha come on I know your not a whore. I took you to dinner that had to count as a date. Why is it so important for you to hear it from me?" He said while grabbing her arm to look at him.

"Then I guess we should hurry up and get home." She said starting to walk again, the house not very far away "where do you want to start?" She asked as she walked inside.

"One date and we've been doing whatever this is for months now. I need to hear it from you because if I don't I will find someone else. It's time you stop seeing all your little floozies and focus on me for once."

Looks like she was up for it they entered the home. He looked at the boxes there weren't many. "Let's start with clothes. You know were I should put these." He picked up the box full of his shirts and pants.

"How do you not know I would take you on more dates and what are you talking about I haven't been with any woman." He was lying threw his teeth. He pulled her closer so he could wrap his arm around her slender waist. "Besides your the one who wanted to hook up with no emotions in the first place."

"Upstairs... In our room. I made some space in the closet and dresser... Hopefully it's enough." She said looking at another box "what's in this one?"

"I changed my mind. Anyway... Have you seen the way those two act around each other? He hasn't even been her a month and she'll be married before me. That isn't fair, I'm better than her..." Natasha said upset.

He headed up the stairs leaving the box in her actually their room. He came back down as she was holding one of collectibles boxes. "Be careful with that's my memorabilia. It's got a lot of my baseball treasures. You can leave it their. Go open that box to the left of you." He had gotten her a diamond necklace as a present.

"You are better baby." He put her chin up. "Are you jealous they have nothing on us. They will probably break up in a few months while will be stronger than ever." He tried calming her down so instead of a full makeout he kissed her cheek. "You know I care about you." He couldn't say he loved her cause this was just a platonic sex filled relationship.

"Okay, sorry..." She said carefully putting the box back down on the floor "where does this box need to go?" She asked waiting for his answer before opening it.

"You're right, he's awful in bed. Although that guy Greg on your team really knows what he's doing." She said hoping she would get a reaction from him "he's really good with his hands..."
