How would this not be accidental? What reason have the Kuwaitis to side with Iran? They're not Arabs -- they're not even the same kind of Muslims.
 
Shouldn’t be too harsh on them from friendly fire accidents. I’m glad the Americans got out alive and mostly unharmed over this. But it’s happened before - we shot down our own aircraft and shelled our own troops before - they didn’t make it out - and there was no fallout over those downings. Hell, just recently we even shot down our own drone thinking it was a drug lord’s drone flying over the border and had egg on the government’s face when every US agency failed to check in with one another, again.
 
At least we know that US air defense missiles are better than US fighter defenses.
 
The crews are safe and Boeing knows that the Kuwaiti's checks for the replacement F-15's are good. :cool:

Don't panic it's a question presented by a former F-15 pilot. Of the three aircraft two had female WSOs. WSOs are responsible for defending against ground attacks. You can find his reasoning on YouTube.

There are now reports that a single Kuwaiti F-18 fighter shot down all three F-15s. Again, what were the WSOs doing? What was the status of the ROEs? What about active deconfliction procedures? Did he mistake them for a drone swarm on his radar?
