"Now? Oh yes, now you get to see Robert. You will love this..." Jareth said with humor. He pulled a crystal sphere from thin air and tossed it into the air. It shattered and the glass formed about them. Then the glass seemed to melt away and there they were. a good ten feet away from the bog of eternal stench. Jareth pressed a lavender gloved hand to his nose and pointed. There in the middle of the bog, suspended by a rope, his head pointing toward the earth was Robert. He was gasping for breath and crying. The rope that Robert hung from was knoted to a rather old decrepit looking tree. It looked as though any moment the branch would break. Up in the tree limb was a dog like creature that stood on two legs. "Have at ye, foul DOG!" The creature barked at Robert. Sarah knew who it was.
"Sir Didymus!" She gasped, regretting it almost imediatly as she fought a gag.
Grant walked forward onto the rock. The woman grabbed her clothes, and put them over her body. It didn't help much.
"He... hello, my name is Grant."
He walked onto the rock, as closely as he dared.
"Snuggle," she said simply. Grant shrugged his shoulders, and went to snuggle her, she recoiled.
"No, my name is Snuggle."
Grant smiled, embarassed. The fairy gave him a sarcastic whine. Gary rolled his eyes, batting the pest away.
Snuggle seemed happy with the little creature.
"A fairy? How did you get ont to obey you?"
Grant was about to speak, but the fairy stopped him, "He can't say, otherwise I will turn him to a toad."
Grant grumbled at the fairy, "Honestly, I don't know how. She just started following me."
The woman reached up her hand, an the Fairy easily landed in it.
"It's pretty."
Grant nodded, looking as the robe opened slighty, "Very pretty."
It was her turn to be embarassed.
"Sir Didymus!" She looked at Robert and suprisingly felt no pity for him. She shook it away quickly. What was wrong with her? Rob hadn't done anything but be sweet and cosiderate. Sure he'd been a jerk at the end there but...Well, she had called out another man's name in a make out session....
"Your kidding, right? This.. This imbicile once nearly costed me my lovely bog here!" Jareth said through the sleave of his shirt that he had pressed to his nose and mouth. "The disbelieving fool!" Jareth looked about his feet for a goblin to kick as he suddenly felt a rush of anger. But onf course there was none, not even the common goblin was stupid enough to reside near the bog. So instead Jareth clinched his fists tightly and stared at the dangling Robert. A smile spread across his face as Robert started to plead to Sarah to help him.
Sir Didymus looked up and with a surprised yelp of delight he hopped his way quickly to her. He reached for her hand and kissed it softly as any sworn knight would a lady such as she. "Lady Sarah! You have returned!" He said, the excitment in his voice almost a doggish whine.
With his sleave still to his nose Jareth replied to Sarah. "Quite." His foot twitched for lack of a goblin to kick and he added. "Shall we be off then? Seeing as I have shown you your dearest Robert here?"
Sir Didymus:
"Returned for good? But how, my lady Sarah? I had not known that was possible." Sir Didymus's brow tightened up with a might bit of confusion.
Robert:
"Sarah! Help me please! *Gag* I never ment to hurt you! I.. *Gag* I'm sorry! Please!" Roberts voice was strained with fear as the rope he dangled from swayed just so much. The tree limb was making a rather nerve wracking bending sound.
