Here is a challenge with a difference. The challenge is to complete the poem below by supplying a last line (which is currenly missing).
Listen my love to those waves
Far out at sea
Listen how they make no sound
But pass silently
Like clouds
Ministers of the sea's great hope
To walk alone under the
Unjoined stars.
Only at the shore
Do they finally break their
Long silence
Aching with white desire
They break
And break in an unending roar.
How to tell you then that sound
. . .
Listen my love to those waves
Far out at sea
Listen how they make no sound
But pass silently
Like clouds
Ministers of the sea's great hope
To walk alone under the
Unjoined stars.
Only at the shore
Do they finally break their
Long silence
Aching with white desire
They break
And break in an unending roar.
How to tell you then that sound
. . .
