how do you manage to turn every thread into a personal vendetta against me?
if anybody on the board says something i disagree with i will say so .
i have called you up on one occasion whe you attacked someone on the board , something for which you have apologised .
i sent you a private message explaining the reasons why i did what i did and said it was nothing personal against you . which you say you never received. i take your word for it .
now what ever ambigous remark i make on the board concerning any subject is taken as a personal slight against you .
now a thread about female members is used to attack me again .
is this becoming some sort of hate fetish for you .
when are you going to understand that if you say something that somebody disagrees with then they may well voice those opinions , because they have those opinions not because of any personal animosity towards yourself .
if this is becoming a problem for you then get help .
better still ask your friends for their true opinions and not just the ones they put on the board for the public to see.
can i go to sleep now?

I was just thinking the same thing! My sister and I used to sing that song in the car on family vacations. Drove everyone crazy! We never remembered where we learned it though, it just "came" to us. I thought maybe girlscout camp (NOT the same as band camp. )

For some of us, GirlScout Camp was a lot like Band Camp. Don't ask why a guy was working there, but let's just say it sure as hell was fun!

why should anyone "just leave it " and allow members to attack others unjustly , without any comeback .
this thread is about one person attacking others , yet wanting to deny the people attacked their right to reply. that is the same form of censorship used by dictators all over the world . i have had many pm's over the past few hours from lit members i have never spoken to before telling me to keep on fighting the good fight . i wish more would be open and post their views on the board . there are people on this board with major problems on here and i would imagine in the real world that need to be addressed in their personal lives . they should not be allowed to go around hurting others without anybody questioning their actions

Since I'm new here, and don't seem to know the whole story, my comments may be a bit out of line, so I'll try to keep them general. Personal problems with other members isn't something that is best posted in a public forum, IMHO. While I do believe that you should let another user know when they have upset/offended you, it's best kept on a personally level. Counterattacks such as this just shows the person in question that they have affected you in some negitive way and also allow the whole community know they have. Why would you even give someone that you couldn't care less about so much attention and credit? As a self-proclaimed "BB Junkie", I have personally found that such matters are best taken up with the user or adminstration in a private conversation. Either way, as a community each and everyone of us should respect the other users. Such respect would make messages like this absolet<sp?>. Because with that respect, the situation would never have risen. That's just my .02 Sorry if I'm out of line.

i respect all peoples right to air their opinions on the board . i dont like people attacking others and trying to deny them their right of reply .
there are bullies on this board and some are afraid to stand up to them , i am not , i fear nobody on here , i will not be quiet when i feel people are being treated unjustly .

Sorry pablo but I just can't see where you're going with this.
You're slamming others for attacking people when you're doing it yourself.

If you want to be above them then fair enough, but it sounds like you're just ranting without a just cause. You're not even giving evidence to back yourself up.

No offence to hkbj, but he keeps starting threads about the same subject then obviously it's going to seem rather repetitive isn't it? For me it's not really an issue because he can do whatever he wants, but I can understand why some people told him to cool down a bit. I didn't see anyone addressing him in a derogatory fashion, nor giving him a dressing down. It was more a side comment that he didn't really need to start so many threads.

And if you want to talk about lavy like that then I really don't know what happened with you, but I know lavy and she only argues if she believes that it is right. I've never seen her state her case and tell everyone else to shut up, every conclusion she reaches is backed up with research and evidence. If she's wrong, she'll be the first person to put up her hand and say it. Sure she states her opinion a lot but who doesn't? I can see you doing it pretty vehemently now.

So just leave this. It really isn't worth fighting over.

I generally try to stay away from the "flaming hate" threads, but since that's all I've seen here lately, I'll post.

I am a major defender of freedom of speech and the good Lord knows I say what I want, be it good bad or ugly, but sometimes this little "free speech" argument is thrown about quite lightly. It's almost like crying wolf in my opinion.

No one said, "Don't post" "Don't post about so-and-so" or anything of the sort. No one is impuning on your freedom of speech rights.

My only question of you is, WHY? What did you hope to gain by posting this thread? What was said here that wouldn't have been just as pertinent on Myst's thread where rampant attacks were already going on? Wouldn't this have been better posted there, thus giving credence to what you said about someone attacking you. As it stands, this makes you look like YOU are attacking someone else.

I understand that tempers flare and people post in anger, and perhaps, later regret what they've said. I know I've done it lately. I think my basic crux in this discussion was , What is to be gained by starting another "my mom can kick your mom's ass" thread?

There will always be people here that you won't like. Conversely, not everyone here will always like you. I can accept that. It makes things interesting. That's the true beauty of BB life....you can post at your own leisure.
