Leather and Lace

Katelyn supports Jen's weight as she walks, when they get into the house she settles Jen in the bedroom and takes off her dress and lays her down, putting her under the blankets. She looks over her shoulder at Kallie and sighs.

Keri winces and bites her lip as she is stitched up with nothing to numb the pain. She watches Juli, her eyes still glazed over and trembling madly even as she is wrapped in a blanket. She opens her mouth to say something as she feels the cold of alcohal being rubbed over her opposite wrist but nothing comes out.

Kallie stays back and ponders what to say.

Juli finishes up what she was doing and puts the hemplock in place on Keri's other arm. She looks at Keri and finishes up quickly then settles her body over Keri's under the blanket.

Jen settles under the covers where Katie puts her.

Katelyn lays down next to Jen and puts an arm around her then points to Jen's other side hoping Kallie will do the same.

Keri sighs softly as Juli lays down on top of her. She tries to wrap her arms around Juli but just can't and lays there looking up at Juli and trembling, she got overly chilled from chasing after Jen. "S... sorry"

Kallie climbs in on Jen's other side.

Juli lays close to Keri trying to get her warm. "It's okay."

Jen stays motionless her teeth chattering a little bit.

Katelyn slips under the covers and wraps her arms around Jen "Would she do better if she was with Keri?"

Keri closes her eyes, still trembling but not as badly. She brings an arm up manages to rest it on Juli's back "I.. i... love you" she whispers as she shivers, so very chilled.

Kallie looked at Jen and over at Katie. "She might."

Juli snuggled down gently on Keri trying to get as warm as possible. "I love you too."

Jen looked up at the mention of Keri's name. "Keri."

Katelyn crawls out of the bed, watching Jen and Kallie for a moment. She notices Jen's reaction and helps Jen up "We should take her to Keri, let her rest with Keri and Juli maybe"

Keri sighs happily as Juli snuggles against her, she finally slows in her trembling as she starts to get warm. "Jen okay?"

Kallie nods and goes to help.

Juli snuggles close to Keri. "I think she is."

Jen follows Katie.

Katelyn leads Jen into Keri's room with her help. She nods to Juli then pulls the blanket back and slips Jen in next to Keri and Juli.

Keri turns her head and smiles a bit as she sees Jen next to her. She reaches over and grabs one of Jen's hands, squeezing it weakly. She looks back up at Jen and sighs softly again, finally starting to warm up.

Kallie smiles at Keri and Juli.

Juli looks at Jen and leans against Keri knowing she is getting warmer.

Jen just leans against Keri starting to warm up her ownself.

Katelyn takes Kallie by the hand and leads her to their room. She lifts Kallie's dress off and pulls back the covers, easing her into the bed. She takes off her own clothing and lays on top of Kallie, wrapping her arms around her and trying to warm her up.

Keri holds onto Juli tightly with arm then takes the other arm and carefull places it under Jen, pulling her closer to her and Juli.

Kallie snuggles into Katie getting warmer once they are skin to skin.

Juli leans against Keri looking at Jen.

Jen stays motionless as Keri pulls her closer she has a very vacant look in her eyes.

Katelyn kisses Kallie's lips warmly and smiles at her "You are very brave" She pauses for a moment "Keri is likely the toughest of us all, but what would happen to her without Juli?"

Keri looks up into Juli's eyes, her own clearing up as the pain medicine starts to take affect and she gets warm "Juli, I am nothing without you. Your my pillar of strength."

Kallie snuggles Katie close to her. "She would do what Jen tried but she would succeed just as Juli would do without Keri."

Juli looked at Keri and kissed her forehead. "Yes love as you are mine."

Jen layed totally motionless her eyes growing blanker.

Katelyn sighs "The two of them can't live apart can they?"

Keri smiles up at Juli, knowing this is very much true. She snuggles Jen closer and looks at her, her heart sinking. "Juli, she is going to die if she keeps this up."

 

[JenJ]

Kallie nods. "They can't again they did it once they won't make it again."

Juli looks at Jen. "She doesn't want too she is like we are Keri. She knows she wont' see Kristen again. I don't know if we will pull her through it or not."

Jen starts to shake her eyes going totally blank.

Katelyn nods "I know... I kinda thought that. Will we be that way?"

Keri sighs, on the verge of breaking down again. She has yet to break down from all that happened but is forcing herself to stay strong "I don't want her to die." "Jen, please..."

 

[JenJ]

Kallie holds Katie. "Most likely." She sighs. "I don't think Jen is going to pull through this."

Juli looks at Keri and at Jen. "I know you don't she doesn't have the will to live though."

Jen shakes more her eyes drift shut.

Katelyn looks at Kallie with tears in her eyes, she looks down then buries her face in Kallie's neck as she starts to cry.

Keri bites her lip as she tries not to cry. She wraps her arm more tightly around Jen, the stitches pushing into Jen's stomach causing her to wince a bit and the tears that were starting to form to go away. She takes a deep breath "Don't you do this now Jen" she yells "Stop it damnit.. Just stop." she looks at the heplock and struggles underneath her a bit as she tries to get out from under her. Just wanting to run and no one to see what she is feeling.

Kallie holds Katie close to her.

Juli wraps her arms around Keri. "You aren't going anywhere."

Jen struggles a little bit her body stopping it's shaking at Keri's words yet her eyes remaining closed. It seems she is having a bit of a dream. -You will not die little love that is not your fate right know you must live and help someone else. You have to live for me as well as yourself- She jumps a bit and her eyes open. "Kristen."

Katelyn snuggles against Kallie, her tears flowing down over Kallie's bare shoulder.

Keri struggles a bit more under Juli, knowing that she is going to break down soon and that she doesn't want her Juli to see this. She stops and looks at Jen and holds her even closer "Jen, this is Keri. I love you, please pull through this."

Kallie holds Katie close and rocks her gently.

Juli holds Keri close to her.

Jen blinks her eyes focussing again. "Oh Keri I was idiotic earlier. I have to live for it is my destiny."

Katelyn holds onto Kallie tightly as she rocks her, tears still flowing because she just doesnt understand life right now.

Keri gasps as she hears Jen's words. She hugs her close to herself and Juli "Yes Jen, it is your destiny. You have to live for Kristen and yourself. You have to survive for the person that you are meant to be with." She holds Jen tightly, wincing a bit at hte pain it causes but not caring. "I wont lose you Jen. Your my best friend." Keri looks up at Juli, tears in her eyes "I can't live without the two of you."

Kallie hugs Katie close to her.

Juli just listens and holds onto Keri.

Jen listens to Keri. "Kristen was in my dream she told me that. Oh Keri I just need a purpose and I will be okay I think."

Katelyn stops crying and snuggles against Kallie quietly.

Keri closes her eyes and swallows hard as she listens. She knows what Jen's purpose is but she herself can't admit. She can't admit how weak and beat down she is. She opens her eyes and looks at Juli pleadingly.
