Let us hear no more of PRATTs on this board

Like a flea claiming to have conquered the dog. All you are is a mouse staring up at an elephant's ass with rape on its mind. Keep dreaming.
You are ALWAYS wrong where I am right. That has to mean something.

You're the type who fires off replies from the gut before your brain has clocked in. It's always reaction over reason, emotion over evidence. To you, every conversation feels like a battlefield where feelings are weapons, not ideas. Beneath the new iteration of Politruk's impulsive outbursts simmers a restless frustration, a gnawing sense that you're always one step behind the clarity that others seem to wield effortlessly. This perpetual catch-up breeds bitterness, a quiet internal desperation masked by bluster, as you struggle to translate fleeting emotion into coherent thought. You need to pay attention and treat your emotions as data, not conclusions. Feelings explain motivation; they do not establish truth.

Stop before you go any deeper into projection. There is not one word of that that does not apply better to you than to me.

And do please stop calling the American Democrats "Communists" or "socialists." They do not even qualify as social democrats.

Let us also hear no more of the Democratic Party's racist history before 1960 as if it reflected on the party's present character.

its crazy how before the 1960s the democratic party used to be like post 2016 republican party aka america first party

back in the old days before the 1960s the left wingers had dixie cracts aka the conservative democracts

In the 1960s the Dems got solidly behind the black civil rights movement, which was a big break from their past, and a really divisive thing to do at the time. Nixon then appealed to white conservative/racist voters with the Southern Strategy. This led to a general exchange of constituencies -- socially liberal "Rockefeller Republicans" moved over to the Dems, the white Dems who had made up the party's "Solid South" since the Civil War moved over to the Pubs -- sometimes, with a stop on the way at George Wallace's American Independent Party.

oh ok

And newly enfranchised blacks also, for the same reasons, moved over from the Party of Lincoln to the Dems. It has been that way ever since. When LBJ signed the Voting Rights Act, he is reported to have said, "We [the Dems] have just lost the [white] South for a generation."
