Can we please have no more PRATTs on this board?

Let this be a lesson to you: The Democratic Party does not have a totalitarian mission.

Not even Socialist Party USA has a totalitarian mission.

You're the idiot.

The Democrats and their now socialist party, support (mob rule) democracy, majority rule, one vote winner take all. We are a Republic, where the minority has a voice. The Constitution demands a "republican" form of government. It does not support the totalitarian centralized governing model supported by the Democrat Party, their President, their Speaker, their Senate Majority Leader, all attempting to violate and subvert the Constitution.

How is it not democratic? Because corporate interests have too much influence in the nominating process? The GOP can hardly claim superiority in that regard.

Oh, I get it now, you're an idiot.

No, you don't get it. You aren't capable of getting it. Your brainwash is complete. Here is what happens when Democrats have total control, in this case in the state of Washington, but California would fit as well:

 Not that "republic vs. democracy" bullshit again, please!

No pure democracy was ever a totalitarian state, and the minority-of-the-moment always had a voice -- not a veto, but a voice.

And the distinction between centralized and decentralized government is entirely irrelevant. France (a unitary state) is just as good a republic as Germany (a federal state).

And the Democrats are not a "socialist party." Business corporations have almost as much all-pervading power over them as over the GOP. Look at the real socialist parties, and the difference is obvious.

Another PRATT: Nobody in American politics is in any sense a puppet of the Chinese Communist Party.

How did anyone ever seriously even consider that? Oh, right, nobody ever really did, it's only a snarl-word talking point.

You can't get to socialism without totalitarianism. That was one of the biggest lessons of the 20th century.

Nothing in all that butthurt shows totalitarian or even undemocratic tendencies on the governor's part. It's only your usual and eternal power struggle between branches of government.

Another PRATT: American citizens were not left behind in Afghanistan.

Who are these American citizens left behind in Afghanistan? Nobody seems to know. American supporters were left, but they have good reasons to stay, and everybody who wanted to leave had time and a chance. This was not like the evacuation of Saigon, with desperate Vietnamese clinging to the landing gear of American helicopters as they took off.

The State Dept certainly isn't in a rush to tell us, but as of a couple of months ago, there were still some 14,000 US residents wanting out.

The difference was that we didn't evacuate so many people with helicopters.

Remember the people that fell off of the landing gear of those cargo planes?

Maybe you should look up the word to refresh your injured memory.

Corporations are operating like they did under the fascist/Socialist rule of Mussolini.

Exactly what similarities do you see?

The most glaring parallel is BigTech implementing administration policy with regard to heterodox views on COVID, vaccines, therapeutics...not to mention simply views that run counter to those of the Woke religion.

Big Tech is a group of big businesses. They have no essential reason to favor the Dems over the Pubs, or to favor the Left (insofar as it exists) in any way at all. If they're hard on "heterodox" views regarding covid, there is some other reason for that.

I stand by my comments. They are accurate and reflect relatity. Yours do not.

Why would businesscritters behave like that?

Be careful, you're teetering on the edge of a deep abyss of conspiracy-theory madness here.

I'm just watching what they are doing. It's so obvious, only a lefty could miss it.
