Let's Do The Time Warp Again- Is Lit up to date?

I just routinely checked the story contest winners page. They are for January 2023!! Should Literotica post that contests are basically shut down? Or will the January 2025 winners be annouced in January 2027? Puzzled. Are there different places where results of different contests are posted? If so, how does the general reader know? Other than announcing there is a 'holiday contest' in that dense paragraph on the home page, is there any place that encourages readers to vote for contest entries? I rarely check new submissions because 'new' is irrelevant unless you are following a chapter-based story, and then you have probably favorited the author and will see their new post announced. I assume most readers browse the genres and authors they like or seach stories by kewords or suggestive titles.

Sorry, I am from the old RTFM school and enjoy when someone has planned a nice UI that helps the viewer navigate. I'm not really of the 'mess around until you figure out how it works' school. And, no, trolls, I don't take a manual to bed and say to my SO, "But, honey, it says here I nibble your neck first and then put my hand on your ass."

Things that need to be updated usually are. There's rarely time to update optional content.

Contest winners are announced on the old front page and on the contest page. The front page changes, but the contest pages remain available. If you want to find out who won an old contest, then you can pull up the old pages. That goes back quite a few years, but not forever.

That's for the monthly "winners" - as you can see, not current.

The annual cycle of contests (and various collections) are the only such things kept current.

Okay, but suppose I'm a new reader, although I'm not. I'm new to this. How am I supposed to know something has 'rolled off' and something is up to date? I just went searching for Story Contests.
