574 races is a lot for a part timer. Since Jeff only has 281, I guess that makes him a part part timer

That's 574 races over a 26 year period. For most of those years, he did not race the full schedule.


The crybaby has always raced the full schedule.


Oh and the points system for the championship, I can give you the full breakdown if you want. You get points based on your finishing position and laps led.

There is no argument that Jeff Gordon is the most hated person in racing. I feel sorry for the guy. When I knew nothing about racing (now I know a little more than nothing, but not much) I heard the rumors that he was a homosexual. And the rumors that his marriage is just a cover. Race fans are a bunch of evil republicans. I guess that's why you are more likely to see a black at a KKK meeting than in the stands.

I only caught the tail end of Gordons post-race interview, what was this weeks excuse for not winning?

Lets hope Ricky or DJ can pull out a win and keep him from winning Winston Cup champion again.

You're partly right. Just ask Clinton about his reception at Darlington in 1992. Yep, race fans are for the most part evil Republicans.

There aren't a lot of African American race fans but their numbers are growing. There is a concerted effort by Nascar to attract more minority drivers and fans. (Just don't tell anyone on the backstretch at Talladega about it. )

Tony gets his own version of special treatment. Anyone else would have gotten a suspension instead of more probation.

Hmmmm, the 285 idea might be a winner. Sure, you can have racing treadless tires. But you gotta make them last for at least 10 laps.

The reason there are almost no black drivers is that there are few black fans. Drivers need sponsors, sponsors sell products, they are selling their product to the people at the races who are predominantly white. If the stands were full of black people, there would be plenty of black drivers. All people are free to buy tickets. Willy T Ribbs is driving in the Super Truck Series this year, Nascar hopes he will bring in fans.
