Its lyrics from a song, lyrics that just have always struck a chord with me. They had special meaning for me and someone I used to be very very close with.
Its a sad reminder that timing isnt always on our side

warning - this song probably falls into the genre of "Country" music, so if that isnt your cup of tea, beware
Avenue Q...oh man lol..I havent listened to that in years. My favorite song? " If you were Gay"![]()
I was rapping along with Hamilton a few weeks ago while driving with my mom in car and she turned to my sister in the backseat, slack-jawed, and asked " How in the hell can she remember all those words? or say them so fast?"
I just had to laugh, my ability to remember lyrics far outweighs my ability to remember actual important facts
also, my sister's response was " with as much as she's a chatter box, and how fast she blurts it all, Im surprised that you're surprised!"
she's kinda right![]()
I saw Hamilton through the Disney+ platform this year, the music is great. I need to revisit it. Avenue Q is one of my favourites.

Im not feeling very "voicey" today, but I wanted to say that I loved loved loved Hamilton.

"Fair is foul, and foul is fair:
Hover through the fog and filthy air."
I adore that one.![]()

I have to admit I'm disappointed in myself for not remembering that it was said in Act 1 Scene 1, seems appropriate for Halloween, I'm kind of surprised it didn't go in a Shakespeare direction like last time

I’m a day early but I just found out tomorrow is going to be busier than I anticipated so I just recorded something silly for Halloween
Hope it’s okay
I love Shakespeare and Macbeth is on my top 3 of his works. I even chose to play Lady M. in drama school right from the start. My prof. eyerolled and said: O. (insert name) you might want to start with something less 'heavy'. I said fine, I'll go with Ibsen then."LOL
I was required to learn this from Macbeth.

How old is 12th grade?
Normally 17 to 18. Our last year before college. I was was 16 when I started because I was a bit young (that’s now discouraged, which is good, I was definitely behind socially).
Still young for a text like that to master. Though, by that age, I had read all Greek classics and Shakespeare's works myself. But def. I didn't have all the tool to actually really understand what those words meant.
The man who ran the English Department had high standards and the reading was quite demanding. I admit that on rereading some of the books later in life they were very different to me. There was so much of the emotional stuff that I entirely missed at that age.
