Entryway, front hall, or perhaps, foyer. I don’t think it’s a mud room as those are usually not connected to many rooms.

Mud room to me, is like a downstairs bathroom or similar. Somewhere you can come in doors and shower yourselves or the dog before they get inside the rest of the house.
