Suggestion
I enjoy the informality of this thread, without the relentless Q&A that made some people feel that is was too much to keep up with. OTOH There were some nice conversation starters and some great discussions. I would like to try an in between approach as a one off.
With the weekend coming up, its fun to imagine things we would do. So for Friday through the weekend let's see what fun things we think someone might do. Specifically, if someone were going to come to your town/region/country, what might they want to try.
I admit that I love living in Boston, and want to show off a bit of my town, but I'm sure there are many hidden gems of places to go. This might particularly fun given the international flavor of Lit. Let's hear about what we should do on our next vacation. And you have a couple of days to think about it, but no penalty for early posting;-)

I'm only at 2:43 minute. But I stopped because I wanted to tell you this.
I don't know you but you are right. You cannot talk with somebody about everything and be intimate with him for such a long time, and not fall.
I don't know yet what happened but my heart breaks for you, just hearing your voice break (very sweet and beautiful by the way).

I've been there a few times for both work and pleasure.. I think I'd find the company quite delightful

Oh good. Then you are already familiar with some of the fun/not so fun areas. I live in the base of the Cascades. So I never take my views for granted. There is plenty of beauty though if you ever want suggestions. Let me know.

Seriously, you're a contra dancer. I have been to the Chagrin Falls dance, very nice little dance, and super cute town. How can you not love a town where you can hear a water fall from the main street?

Thank you both so much for all the kind words. After I recorded this I cried some more and then went and took a long hot shower with my lavender. I did my hair and make up I’m not going anywhere but it makes me feel a little more human. It’s always harder on me when I’m home alone because then I get to thinking and thinking and thinking. Brava! It doesn't make the pain go away but it helps a little bit. If only for a short moment. And I do that sometimes at home too. Make my make-up, dress up and sit back again on the couch.
Again, I don't know what happened between you two guys. But there is nothing that time doesn't heal. Just take your time. Cry whenever you feel like crying. You have the right to mourn your loss. Dwell on it for as long as you need. The time will come when you don't anymore and you will be able to move on.

The farthest I've gone was a twilight weekend in michigan. mostly, i've done local dances.. everything from Kent to Lakewood
