LGBTQIA+ Daily Vibe II

I liked when Sugar made a point of saying her and the others are just folks like the rest of us and if we see a issue that needs calling out, anyone can do an action as they did.
The world needs more folk like them!

The month of June, otherwise known as pride month, is almost here and I was surprised to find out the local health care center is organizing several events in support of LGBTQ+ people! I'm excited about that!
With the political climate, so many orgs are dropping us queers, so to see this happening is sweet :rose:

On another note.....I'm getting my parka back out......snow is in the forecast around here, and it has gotten noticeably chilly!
Pretty sure it won't last tho ❄️

Mood: feeling somewhat reserved
Wearing: tights an warm woolies!
Listening to: sounds of life swirling about
Enjoy watching the snow, it will be hot soon enough.

I have a terrible migraine. It's hot, well, hot for me. I am uncomfortable in anything over 70 with any amount of humidity these days. Doctors still can't figure out my heat intolerance. It's 80, and I am just, oh so miserable. Work will be unbearable. Can't get enough fluids in me. Makes the migraine double-y bad. Maybe I can get hired year round at McMurdo Station? Not much, if any, good going on. Really need sleep. Had to pick up overtime shift tomorrow, out of the nectar of life, colloquially known as money. One of these days I'll have something good to say. But not today, or tomorrow.

Mood: Intolerable ass
Wearing: sweat
Listening to: cicadas and tinnitus

I've been discovering some new walks in the area and taking a new interest in my environment - trees and birds in particular. Today there were the prettiest pink wild roses in the hedgerows and my phone app identified a Black Cap singing - quite a melodious tune. I've not heard of a BC before and certainly didn't know their song. Because it's pretty warm I'm being especially mindful of staying hydrated, because I seldom feel thirsty.
We haven't been to the boat in two weeks so I am getting itchy tiller, but my bf is super busy with his job rn so... booo

Mood: mellow first day of summer
Wearing: shorts and a T
Listening too: boring old pigeons and cheeky jackdaws

At work. Just finished lunch. Waiting to see where I will be assigned. Just humming along on overtime tonight, for $34 an hour, who wouldn't? Tired, but not upset by it. Nightshiift workers of the world.must unite! Have to do some work on my car afterwards, bleh. Need to loose about 20ish more pounds.

Mood: kinda neutral meh
Listening to: Foghat - I just want to make love to you
Wearing: Skirt and 3/4 sleeve top. See for yourself: https://ibb.co/VcN6FdF1

In North America, we have the Black-capped Chickadee, who has a beautiful call, but not really a song. But I suspect you're in the British Isles or Europe? I had not heard of the Eurasian Blackcap until now, but my phone just played its song for me, and its lovely.

Here we have the Gray Catbird, who is a mimic, and therefore whose songs vary from place to place and time to time. But I have one who sings outside my window a song very much like your blackcap. I love it when it sings

I'm not what we call a 'twitcher' in the UK ( bird watcher ) but this Merlin Bird ID app is fab. It keeps a record of bird song I've recorded so now I want more, like stamps to collectors!
Our most common songsters here are the Blackbird and the Robin.... I'll grudgingly add Jackdaws that are common but hardly tuneful!

Yes, I love Merlin too. The blackbirds we have here don't sing (much like your jackdaw), but I've heard recordings of your blackbirds, and they do have a lovely song. Our robins are different from your robins, too— but they're in the same family, I think. Ours are lovely singers also.

Every day's a school day. A blackbird with no song :(

Posting a lot lately... but I almost lost Tola Cat today. Came home early from work to see a window screen knocked out. First I thought it just fell out, they are old and suffered some damage from a tornado a while ago, I just havent gotten around to replacing the windows on the 2nd floor. I was gathering my stuff from the car and I could hear a cat crying in the distance. I thought to myself it sounded like Tola as she has a very unique meow. Went into the house and my soon to be ex-wife was still sleeping, but the other cat had some common sense was meowing and running around looking for her. Yup, knew in that second she was outside. Took me 20 minutes to find her. When she saw me she ran and jumped on me. Thankfully she is small and light. She hasn't left my side in hours. Even climbed on the counter watching and purring while I was making dinner.

Poor kitty. She fell out of a 2nd floor window and was outside for who knows how long. And with the way black cats are treated here, super happy she wasn't hurt. https://ibb.co/jPP887wH

I'm so glad she came back safe and sound. I also had one go out of a second story window once, and no harm. Amazing.

I know that fear. Every once in awhile mine sneaks into the woods and is gone for hours. One long anxiety attack until she comes back.

I have never been really into Lesbian porn or erotica, because my second wife occasionally liked to play that side of the fence, and nothing compares to seeing the real thing. However, this being Pride month, Amazon Prime has a number of gay themed movies on this month.

I clicked on one this last weekend, "A Perfect Ending". It captured the angst, the fears, and the passion of a long time married woman discovering her sexuality. It was a beautifully done movie, and very sexually erotic. I recommend it

Ooh!! There was a South American (Argentinean, if I remember right) movie on Prime that I saw about a year ago, about a young trans woman’s journey into self-discovery. Very moving. I'll see if I can find the title, and of it's still available.

Here's a balanced, informative YT that might help sceptics understand *sigh*

This YT is so straight up awesome! It's not often to see someone explain trans in such a clear, easy to comprehend way as this.
Now I'm wondering how to get some of my family to see this!

A while back I mentioned I had lost my job, I ended up getting a cashier job at a gas/convenience store, don't think I'll stay with this for long, but it is money so there is that ⚡
Tonight is pride night at our local thrift shop 👗so I'll be there hoping to find some different fits for myself.

A rainy day in my neighborhood, besides going to work, may not do much!

Listening to: internet radio and all it's goodness
wearing: jeans n' tee....otherwise known as drab....
mood: happy girl

I don't know if anyone has seen or remembers the movie 'The Fourth Kind'. It is supposedly set in Nome Alaska, although I guess it was filmed in Europe some where, but it is about all the weird disappearances that have happened up here.

So admittedly at times this small town seems on the edge, a little bit surreal. But I had an odd occurrence as I was out wandering the recently thawed tundra. I was a long ways from any road or trail and I saw something of an unusual shape an size.......
Approaching this, I figured it was a basketball, but no....it was a bowling ball! A bowling ball all by itself out on the tundra is not an everyday, or even once a life find!
So I dunno? Did it fall from an airplane? Perhaps someone with a unique sense of humor?
If nothing else, I have my own little mystery to ponder now!

The sun it shining, a small group of us local queers are going out to do a trash clean up around town. After snow melt things can be a little messy!
Have a lovely day wherever y'all are :rose:

Listening to: not sure, but it is internet radio. a synthy, electronica sorts of music I'm liking!
Wearing: a lovely sheath dress I got a couple days ago
Mood: morning mood sweetie 🌞

I remember that film, interesting how it blurred the lines between reality and fiction, has a couple of truly unsettling scenes.

The bowling ball is a sign! Have you ever been bowling because the national league pays $$
We’ve come down to the boat . Rain today, sun tmrw 🤞⛵
Wearing long everything because 15c
Listening to distant motorcycles
Mood chilled with my lovely man 🫶🏻

It def played fast an loose with reality, but it made for a wild tale! There are not a small number of missing, but it is big wild country and wouldn't be hard to disappear here....

Arctic foxes love to go bowling on Friday nights, didn't you know?
Locals would be more inclined to think it was inukun, roughly translates to little folk. Mischievous beings sometimes seen out in the country.
"there are queer sights under the northern lights" Ha! think that is from some author.....can't remember the name tho....

happy boating friend! this all sounds so lovely 💜

I'm over this while "married" thing. I am resenting their very presence at this point. I had this whole rant that took near 20 minutes to type out, and I just looked like a giant asshole. Well, I am an asshole, but 2 sides to everything, you know? Lately everything is just being turned into how its my fault again and I just don't "understand" because of whatever todays flavor is or whatever. I'm just getting tired of everything. Are lobotomies still a thing? I'd even take an aneurysm at this point. Time to get ready for work. I knew being happy for 2 hours yesterday was going to bite my bum.

Mood: suicidal
Listening to: blood pressure pounding in my head
Wearing: grey pajama set with white stars

Well the pajamas sound cute.
If I’m reading the other stuff right, then those life changing things are a bitch. 🙁
