linguist on trump's "unadorned" basic speech

Know what else was awesome about that? He spent 2 hours saluting and shaking the hand of every graduating cadet. That's what I like in leadership, action, not a bunch of verbal diarrhea that sounds good.

yes~

The Ignore function is for the small of mind and yuuuge of ass.

Iggy is for those who can't muster a rebuttal and instead decide to concede the field of battle while falsely proclaiming a "win" in an effort to try and save face.

that fits your narrative but never mind the inaccuracies

the truth is the ignore button gets used because logical, factual rebuttals/discussions reap the same troll responses of lies, more lies, and overwhelming ignorance. i am capable of learning that some posters simply aren't worth my time. others, i engage only rarely but still find it's like banging my head against a brick wall. i don't do pain so....

Sidebar- eventually, you will catch your husband in a Lie.

What's the plan when that happens? Put him on iggy?

No one forces you to stick your fingers down the throat of your keyboard and vomit a response to someone you don't particularly agree with.

However, what iggy does is prevent you from learning. Sometimes, even those you disagree with have salient points which can teach you something you didn't know.

Plus you miss half the conversation. Which prevents you from fully participating and makes you look foolish when you say something which has been factually debunked already by someone on your iggy list.

Finally, one does not hone their discussion skills or mental agility/acuity by merely nodding along.

in the years i have been here, i've learned EXACTLY which people are worth the ignore button. they have nothing left to teach me and i have no interest in anything they post. they're given years, sometimes, to prove they have anything to bring to the table - and then i shut them down. if i look 'foolish' to you or to any of them? i wouldn't care.

now, enough of the circular shit, it wastes my time.

And there it is; the concession and withdrawal while attempting to save face...

Typing that ramped up the sweating, didn't it?

wrong again... you going for the record, birdy?

i've never cared about 'saving face' - it's a rather alien concept to me. i say what i mean to say and don't post in piques of temper or fits of rabid ignorance.

now, off you go. time to join your compatriots on the ignore list since you've proven once-too-often just how boring you are to read. buh bye.
