Right now, my ship-out date is June 12th, but that's going to change once my change-of-specialty request goes through (going from an Avionics job to a Linguist job). I don't expect much internet access while I'm at Basic (I'm told that, after a few weeks, I can earn the privilege to use the phone and email for a few minutes, in a room that even has a soda machine!), so I'll probably be out of contact for a couple months.

You will be missed Tex! I know I'll miss reading your scifi ideas in the Story Ideas board. You give me ideas.... especially when I'm writing...lol. I hope your time without the net will be a short one. What is it six weeks? Sigh... just what we need a geek shortage.

How does one maintain pervert equilibrium? I mean if we have ~13 people and all are perverts (let's face it we all have some degree of perversion ) then how to maintain equilibrium? The bigger perverts on top or bottom? How does one measure one's perversity?

Sorry, was thinking of this as I'm sketching out showgirl costumes for a "Whiskey-a-go-go"ish themed dance room. And a slew of sultry serving castle wenches. I'm having soo much fun with this!

Just a thought, I think our characters should have "real" names, rather than going around calling eachother "Tex", "Lips", "Minxy" etc. all the time.

That's not to say they can't have nicknames and such too, but like, first names. They need not be our REAL first names, of course.

I'm partial to "Phil", myself.

I wanted to offer my opinion on this. When I had the idea for the chain story, I thought it would be fun and silly to use our screen names on purpose. (And the use of a "nickname" to soften things at times so we're not typing out the screen name complete with possible numbers on some each time.)

After all, this chain story is more or less our fantasies of what we'd do to/with each other after being able to meet in person!

The first ever "Lit" chain story (of Lit members meeting) used screen names as well. In fact, the party/Litogether was hosted at Laurel and Manu's house. (And Laurel wrote her own chapter if you're interested!!!)

I'm kind of a fan of using the handles/nicknames too but I'd also be game for being called 'Ang'. The idea of crying out 'oh Tex, you're so BIG!' makes the humor of the situation come out for me though.
