When people say the place isn't fun anymore, aren't they usually saying that people they had fun with aren't around as much anymore? And people after them who have their friends will bemoan the state of the board when their friends drift away. It's just a continual generation gap, not necessarily a reality
 
Hmmm. Maybe.

My mood predicts whether I will have fun or not. Sometimes Imma not in a funnehflirty mood, my evil twin gets out & runs rampant, or Imma in the mood for introspective talkies that cannot be expounded on in the threads.

Litsters come & go...I find new Litsters refreshing...pffft...not that Imma OldsterLitster.
 
An innuendo jpg and a link to a buttercup sing along..... I had my hopes up for serious thread drift.......just feeling like being off the path today.

I am always a sucker for a thread that has interesting conversations going on, whatever the subject. It is all about the dance of language.

Most of is have stayed up later then we might normally to chat in Lit. Sleep is the easiest thing you can give up for Lit. What have you given up that in retrospect probably wasn't the best idea? For me, it's work. I have not paid attention to work things to be on Lit and had to play catch up as a result. Then there are those pesky conference calls that are so easy to be distracted from.

Daily stuff. I've missed dispatches before and had to ask them to repeat themselves because I was dicking around on my phone.
 
I've definitely lost sleep on occasion.

Just once I gave up a chance to work. Not something I'd promised to do but I could have made a few bucks and probably should have done it.

Sleep for sure.
When I was unemployed I sure spent more time on line playing then I did looking for work...good thing I righted that one!
