In the past 9 years, I've worked 60+ hours every week including those with hollidays. In 2009, I averaged 72 hours per week.

Wow! You NEED a vacation! Are you obligated to work these hours, or are you one of the fortunate people that work that much because you have an awesome job?
I do need one more than you can possibly imagine. I have no doubt that I'm on the razor's edge of burning out (burning up?).
But, alas, I can't. The situation is such that I need to work a minimum these hours and have pangs of guilt for not being able to put in even more hours that are required.
Sometimes we mess up in life and choose poorly. It's worse to have a conscious that demands cleaning up one's own messes and deal with the consequences.
On the plus side, I should be able to retire 20+ years before the average bear and have as good if not better quality of life. That's the ONLY thing keeping me going. It just sucks having the realization that money really isn't everything and maybe a complete re-boot of one's life is not only necessary, but desirable.
But back on topic: I'm know to work outside in 5F temperatures wearing a T-shirt and no coat.
Say it loud and proud! I'm right there with you. Too bad it took medical problems to get my hysterectomy and that was when I was past 40I am happily (and permanently) a child-free woman.
What a great idea for a thread, Ima! I love it!
Let's see... Little known fact about me... I've been fortunate enough to deliver 2 babies, and also be with someone as they took their last breath. Where some people may not consider that fortunate, I look at it as a gift. I was able to be there for someone so they wouldn't have to die alone, and also able to be there to welcome a new life.
I sing in a band.
I've never touched a narcotic, even marijuana, and I only very, very rarely drink alcohol.
I've had the same boyfriend since I was 18, but we have an open relationship.
I don't believe in God.
I play guitar (but not in my band! I'm not good enough).
My favourite food is fajitas.
I can make 3d models.
That is awesome! Of what?
My speciality is architecture, but I can do almost anything (other than people and animals).
