Okay, gawd that was a rush...

Final word count for today:

50,066

I did it!!!

I will join Og and the Iceman!!! Way to go guys!!!

I'm buzzing here, bouncing in my seat. That was amazing.

Raph, who now has to find another 25,000 words of plot twists to slot in to make it into a real novel.

Yay! Good on you, Raphy!

From what I've seen of yours it is definitely one that I can see being published. Just promise me one thing, I'll get a personally inscribed copy. ;)

You've been an inspiration, thank you.

Lou and a  for you

YAAAAAAAH!

Lots of call for :nana: :nana: :nana: in the thread today. :)

Og is past 50K and finished. Raph is past 50K, and still torturing keyboard for another 25k. LeatherCandle finished already too? I missed that, big congrattos! Crimson in a cheerful mood, Perdita praised and deserving it, BardsLady serving up one of the coolest snippets I've read here so far...

And now little me with a wordcount of 50170, and hell-bent on another 15k, I think.

Not a bad day for the LitWrido.

/Ice

Congrats to Ogg, Cakeman, and Raphy for reaching the goal of 50,000!! :nana::nana::nana: for each of you!

CM

The damn thing in the AV's taking up all my daylight hours, you can just about see me behind the netting paintbrush in hand, but I've managed about 3k today and couple more hours to go.

You can do it Wills. I was sitting at just over 25,000 last night when I stopped. Since starting this morning, I have managed to bang out a little over 6,000 during the course of the day. At little here and a little there adds up!

Woohoo! Great going Crimson. That is a very impressive day's output.

Wills, you'll get there. You'd bloody well better or I'm getting on a plane with my whip.

Lou ;)

Yay! Ice, you da man! Have another nana :nana:

You're right, the party's started early here.

YAY EVERYONE! :D

Lou, raising a glass to you guys.

Congratulations!

Many, many Congratulations to Leathercandle, Ogg, Cakeman, and Raphy for reaching the magical 50K word count!!!

It spurs me on to make a dash for the finish now :D

Now I am grinning wide thinking of what MG would say if she dared venture onto this overwhelmingly kissy-huggy thread.

Let's invite her, gang! :D

Perdita

Congratulations to all who passed the 50K mark. Good on you!

And for those who have made considerable progress. Good on you!

And for those who are continuing to participate and support the NaNo philosophy. Good on you!

For those of us still plugging away at our novels, I'll see you at the finish line. ;)

I haven't been around enough to predict MG's reaction, but from what little I have seen, I figure sheep would be involved somewhere.

Thanks to those who run NaNoWriMo

I just want to take this opportunity to put in a HUGE THANKS to Chris Baty, head honcho of NaNoWriMo, and his staff.

They do a wonderful job organising and administrating this for us novelists. I know I'll be eternally grateful for this whole experience, I've been having the time of my life, and it isn't over yet. :D

So, please, all of you join me in shouting "Thanks Chris". I'm sure he'll hear it. Mike and Perdita, make sure you shout loudest of all, he's got more chance of hearing you guys. :D

Katie :rose:

P.S. Good on you, Chris! :D

I can thank Chris, but I also want to thank you, Lou and Mike B.. Fantastic support from you both!

This has been one of the most enjoyable and educational writing experiences in my entire life!!

Thank you Lou!!

At the TGIO, if I can fight the crowds of well-wishers, I'll personally tell Chris he should stop by here and take a look at all the NaNo love going on.

I'll also have to suggest that he consider the position of "Virtual Liason" for you.

Sometimes we just need a little inspiration to see our own potential. Don't lose sight of shopping that novel around to agents when you are done.
