"There it is!! My God look at it!!" Alex shouted as the headlights of the car illuminated the macabre form of the Wendigo.
The headlights glare shone off the off white rotten hew of the creatures skin as it turned at the sound of the cars revved engine. Out of instinct and fear Alex gunned the engine and floored the accelerator. The car shot forward as he told Angela to brace herself and slammed into the tall creature sending it and the car through the front of the cabin and into the living area. Luckily Ellis had heard the cars engine and seen the headlights and was off to one side as the vehicle crashed through the door and wall. He shielded his face from the flying splinters as the Wendigo was nailed to the far wall by the car.
"Get in!" He screamed at Ellis as the creature begun to growl loudly, raking its claws through the hood of the car as Ellis clambered in behind Alex and Angela.
Alex slammed the car into reverse and exited the cabin as fast as he had entered it. The front end of the car was smashed in, but no real damage seemed to have happened as Alex floored the accelerator again and sped off down the track and back toward town. In the rear view he could see the creature in pursuit, running after them. It didn't appear hurt in any way, but if what Angela had found was correct it would take a hell of a lot more than a car hitting it to finish it. The speed of the thing was incredible and the car bounced and jolted all over the place as Alex pushed more speed from the stricken engine. Slowly the creature grew smaller in the rear view until it stopped chasing and howled, its arms in the air in frustration.
"Good timing, Alex ... its good to see you." Ellis stated thought panted breaths as he looked behind them to make sure they were free and clear. "What the hell was that thing, and why was it after me?"
"Don't take it personally, Ellis, its a Wendigo, it eats anyone and you were just next on the menu." Alex stated patting the younger mans arm where it held the headrest of his seat.
"Did you say eats?!" Ellis said getting himself under control now as he licked his lips realising his near miss with death.
"Yes. This is my partner, Angela. I'm FBI now, Ellis, we're here to solve the murders that have been happening."
"Well, I think you can ID the perp pretty good, right?" The young man smirked and laughed nervously looking over at Angela, his eyes, as did every mans, going to her deep cleavage as he held out his hand. "I'm Ellis." He said unnecessarily. "Wow, Alex ... can I join the FBI if they hand out partners like this?"
Alex couldn't help laughing as the adrenaline began to ease from his system. He glanced at Angela and smiled as Ellis continued to admire her curves. If she had thought Tyrell and Wayne were horndogs she was in for a surprise with Ellis, being the youngest of the family he was still getting to grips with his werewolf libido.
