It does not matter what you have said or did not say. The tactics of Saul Alinsky tell you to freeze your opponent by making outrageous personal attacks. That way you tie up opponent in refuting the charges while never having to answer the ideas. Best are : racist, homophobic, misogynist.

My suggestion is that if anyone from the left wing attacks anything you say, just accuse them of all three. It makes no difference that those charges have no basis in reality or any connection to the conversation, Just do it. The radical left has been doing this for years. I have found being quiet, balanced and respectful seems to bore my antagonists and they either go away or become reasonable. If dialogue continues in a respectful level of communication, much can be learned from either side. Just my thoughts of course.

I've worked with people of all races for most of my adult life, and I find the charge that I am "racist" to be despicable, cowardly, and ludicrous. These, oh, shall we say "marginal intellects" (you've put me in quite a charitable mood) are unable to distinguish between racism and harsh criticism of a particular ideology.

I have found people only half read posts mostly and take things out of context. Now I am going to do exactly the same thing but in an effort to point why the racist call may have been made to you. Not that I am, I am merely pointing what may have been peoples focus. If I may show you the section which may have caused their outburst. And I don't want you to feel you must defend yourself.
