Erika had been married for three years now and she loved her husband. He made her happy but his work was beginning to take priority. Erika thought she was his priority, but as of late, it didn't feel like that. Her husband was a surgeon and worked long hours. Erika poured herself a glass of wine and sat down on her patio. It was their third anniversary and he was working, again. He didn't even send flowers this time. She looked into the next yard and saw her neighbor. She knew that his wife was a lawyer and was gone from home most of the time. She felt her eyes swell up with tears, knowing her husband forgot their anniversary. She wiped her eyes so her neighbor couldn't see them.

ooc: send a sample PM. Thanks!

Erika was pretty certain her husband was screwing around on her. She wasn't certain though. She was tired of always fighting with him though. She knew he was either working late or spending time with someone else. She sipped her wine and from the corner of her eye she noticed her neighbor who had always been nice to her.

She forced a smile and waved a little bit. She knew her neighbor was married too but lately she didn't see his wife around much either. Erika would probably be drinking a lot of wine tonight to hide the pain she was currently feeling.

It was starting to get dark and Erika was drinking more and more wine. She was drunk yet but if she kept drinking she would be. She smiled as she saw her neighbor still working. She got up from her porch and went over to the fence where she could greet him.

"Hey there." She smiled a little bit."Isn't it a little late for you to be working? The sun is ready to go down." She tells him. Her neighbor Daniel seemed like a nice guy and on top of it, he was very good looking.

"Yeah, I know how it is, unfortunately."She tells him with a shrug of her shoulders. As of late, Erika was spending a lot of her time alone. Her husband was either doing surgeries or shacking up with a twenty something in a tight sweater. Erika took a deep breath as she looked over her neighbor who was rather good looking. She laughed a bit as he mentioned polishing off a bottle of wine. "Not yet anyway."

"Where's Mel tonight? Working again?" She asked.
