Hi Everyone,

I’m interested in collaborating with another writer (or writers) on a story and wanted to put out a feeler here in the Authors Forum. I did this in the past with another author and the back-and-forth was very fun on its own as well as helped jump start some other writing.

You’re welcome to read my existing stories to get a sense of my writing style, pacing, and the themes I tend to gravitate toward. That said, those pieces are meant as a template, not a limitation I’m very open to exploring new ideas, dynamics, and categories that may fall outside what I’ve published so far.

I enjoy collaborative projects that involve:
  • Talking through characters and tension before writing
  • Trading scenes or alternating POVs
  • Developing something more layered than a quick one-off

If you’ve been curious about co-writing, experimenting with a new angle, or building a story with strong chemistry and emotional pull, I’d love to connect and see if our styles mesh.

Feel free to reply here or message me directly. Happy to start with a low-pressure idea exchange and see where it leads.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

My general advice is to approach this the other way around. My credentials for commenting? I’ve co-authored and collaborated with multiple authors. In each case it was built around a mutual appreciation of each others stories and either being friendly or actual friendship.

It’s an intimate thing to collaborate on writing porn, and needs to be based on trust.

I’d suggest reading widely and then approaching specific authors with a targeted proposal, explaining why you chose them. It may still not work, but it has more chance of success than just asking, “Who wants to write with me?”

Good luck!

That is a really good point Emily. It was how my first (only to-date) collaboration began and was a great experience.

Sounds like a much better plan, I will try that! Thank you!

Good luck in your search. I'd generally echo what Emily suggested: find someone you like and then reach out. Guaranteed, you'll find someone! Most of us are not lacking ideas, just time and/or inspiration.

Kelliezgirl is also correct: a link here in your sig would make it easier for people to go check out what you do. It's cumbersome to back out of here and then go search the story side to find a writer's stories.

Welcome.
