Love In Rio (closed)

“We aren’t exactly a normal couple babe” He said laughing and sitting up giving her a small smile “But we can sure as hell try” He said taking her hand and moving off the bed. He pulled her up and leaned in giving her a gentle kiss before nodding at the bathroom.

“Shower sounds like fun first” He said “though I have no clothes he said shaking his head “remind me to discreetly stash some things here the next time I trust this isn’t going to be a one time thing” He said letting go and nodding at the bathroom “I am going to go get the water started my love” He said turning and disappearing into the bathroom.

Before she could join him her phone beeped alerting her to a message. If she had decided to go and see it she would see a message from her father.

“I hope you know what your doing princess” It was simple but spoke volumes about what he knew.

"You say that like it's a bad thing," she said. biting her lip as she watched him head into the bathroom. Just as Marcus was turning on the shower, Elle heard the buzz of her phone and rolled her eyes knowing who it was from but she read it anyway.

I hope you know what you're doing princess

That was all but still it made her heart skip. Her father was a man whose skills of observation and subterfuge were uncanny. The double life she lead was patterned after his, though Drill was doing it in reverse. She should have known that he would see through their attempts to hide their attraction. The fact that he sent the message to her and not Marcus meant that he wasn't as opposed to the idea as she might have believed. That his speech at the gala was really just a warning from a father to his only daughter and not any slight to Marcus. More importantly it showed that he trusted her to make her own choice for once, and that made her smile.

That didn't mean that she would own up to anything and her return message was just as cryptic.

Thanks Papa...c u sunday:)

The message sent, Elle turned her phone off and plugged it in to charge. She was serious about wanting to be alone with him, if her father needed her he would leave a message with the front desk. It wouldn't be the first time she made herself unavailable, but the reason was all together new.

With a that silly grin on her face, she climbed out of bed and climbed into the shower with Marcus, immediately pressed her body to his. "So we might not be as sneaky as we thought," she said as she dipped under the water. "My dad just text me...and I quote...I hope you know what you're doing."

He heard her moving about her bedroom and ducked letting the warm water hit his skin and loosen his muscles. He turned making sure she wasn’t about to come in then did some thing he had never done in his life.

He swooned

He leaned his head against the cool tile of the bathtub and murmured praise to himself as he let a big ass grin cross his face. He couldn’t believe his luck that not only was he having the best sex of his life but he was also with one of the coolest girls he had ever met. Elle was every thing he could have asked for and more and even his hardened hear couldn’t help but swoon at the thought of spending all weekend with her.

He heard her coming in and smiled holding the shower curtain pen for her as she stepped in. The smile on his face faltered a little at her fathers text and he sucked in a startled breath.

“Did he now?” Marcus said pulling his body against hers and sighing in pleasure “not sure if thas a good thing or a bad thing” He murmured running his fingers through her hair before deciding to let it go for now.

He squirted some of her shampoo into his hands and began washing her touching her and taking enjoyment out of it as he worked on her body

She smirked a little when she saw him grinning in the shower. Despite all the talk of how he felt about her, Elle still found it funny to see him so openly excited. For a moment all the hardness was gone, replaced by hope and excitement. He was just a man excited about a new woman in his life. Gone was the darkness that hid behind his eyes and Elle made choice that as long as they were here, alone in her place, that she would try her best to keep it that way.

So much for not being normal.

"The fact that your not out of a job means it's a good thing," she droned as he worked his fingers against her scalp, letting the hot water was over them. "I'm sure it'll come up at dinner on Sunday but let's not make a thing of it. I don't want that hanging over your head all weekend. Let's have fun doing the stuff that normal people do...I know, I know we aren't normal but I think it might be fun to pretend..."

Elle trailed off into her thoughts for a moment, working out in her head some of the stereotypical things they might be able to do that didn't involve violence of some kind. Her face lit up when she settled on something that she would enjoy but that might make him wholly uncomfortable.

"In fact I've got an idea that will solve your little issue with attire...if you're up for it," she said with a raised eyebrow and challenge in her tone.

“Oh do you know” He said raising an eyebrow at her “ I am almost afraid to ask” he said adopting a teasing tone as he continued washing her. She could tell he didn’t mean it though by the large smile that he couldn’t take off of his face. He finished washing her body and began working on her hair running his fingers through her hair and shampooing it.

“Whatever it is count me in” He said kissing the top of her head and rinsing her hair out before ducking under the water and getting clean himself “I trust you” He said to her meaning it seriously as he got washed off himself there was nothing in the way of masculine shampoo so he simply rinsed his body off before taking her back into his arms and dancing with her in the water.

It was Elle's turn to swoon as Marcus took his time delicately washing her hair. A deep sigh escaped her when he took her into his arms as the water cascaded over them. And she wasn't that disturbed by how much she was enjoying this treatment. She was so used to being a hard ass that it never occurred to her that she might actually like being catered to, and cared for, in this way.

"I'll make some calls in the morning so we can keep some semblance of discretion," she said with a smile as she reached to shut off the water. Her fingers were starting to prune and she was frankly tired of standing. What had been a dull throb most of the day was becoming unbearable and she found herself hobbling out of the shower to dry off. She tossed Marcus a towel and sat down of the cushy over-sized ottoman in the center of her luxurious bathroom to dry herself off.

And she couldn't take her eyes off him. Even as she worked a comb through her damp hair, then arranged it in a long thick braid to keep it out of her face while she slept. Elle doubted there would be much sleep with the way she ogled him but figured it was better to be safe than sorry.

"Come to bed with me," she said in almost a whisper as she held her hand out to him, not wanting to say that she didn't think she could make it on her.

“Actually why don’t you come to bed with me” He said giving her a smile that was laced with concern. He could tell her wound was starting to bother her and knew some rest would do her some good. It was only knew that h realized just how strong she was not to have let it bothered her through the entire party. He tried not to swoon to much and instead finished toweling off and pulling back on his black boxers.

He reached out and picked her up taking her into his arms and cradling her against his chest. He kissed her hair and breathed her in and sighed not bothering to hide his pleasure as he carried her to bed. He gently laid her down and threw the blankets over her before turning and shutting off the light.

“You know you’re the first girl I have ever pent the night with” He said climbing in behind her. He gently grabbed her hips and puller her so she was against his chest. He buried himself in her hair and breathed her in a low purr of contentment rumbling out of his chest.

"You know a girl could used to all the chivalry," she said with a giggle as Marcus scooped her up. Her arms around his neck, head on his shoulder, Elle didn't think she'd ever be impressed by such behavior. That she would allow such things to take place was a bit of a shock but that seemed to be the effect Marcus had on her. How he could accept her strength and treat her so delicately all at once was mind boggling but Elle gave up trying to figure it out.

"And you're the first guy I'm not formulating some excuse to get away from," she admitted with a tired chuckle as she snuggled against his chest. Elle couldn't help but plant a kiss between his pecks before she settled down. "Since we're being honest, last night was the first intentional sleepover I've ever had. So I guess you haven't been shopping with a girlfriend either," she asked, shifting her head up so he could see the devious little smirk on her face.

Elle had already started mapping out their day. So much for staying in bed all day, but there would be time for that.

“No and I am afraid to see what that looks like” Marcus said his smile widening as he took in her devious smirk. His eyes were alight with humor and feeling he was a stranger to but already deep under its spell.

Love

“Some thing tells me staying in bed all weekend has been replaced with some thing else” He said chuckling and shaking his head nuzzling into her hair. He ran his hands up and down her sides for a few seconds before finally resting on her hip and her breast.

“Night babe” He said dropping hi eyelids and breathing in her hair “I love you” He murmured half asleep not even really thinking about it. The words came out instinctively as if they had been waiting to come out all day.

"I love you"

She didn't imagine it. He'd said it, maybe because he was already half asleep, but still he said it. It wasn't the first time Elle had heard such a thing from a guy she was seeing, never this soon. And never had she felt the urge to reciprocate.

But fuck it was too soon. They'd only met yesterday but she had to admit, in spite of being shot and the rough stitches that followed, these had been the best days she'd had in a long time. Since her mother. Even being forced into attended the gala hadn't been as much of a nightmare as it should have been and she had him to thank for all of it.

But was it really love. Sure he cared for her and would probably do anything for her but was that love. Elle always believed that it was a punch you in the face kind of thing and she didn't feel like that. What she felt was a calm, soothing reassurance that as long as she had him beside her everything would be alright.

"I think I love you too," she whispered, allowing herself to drift off only to dream of him.

**********************************************************

She forgot to close the shades. Elle grumbled as she rolled over trying to get away from the brilliant rays of sunshine that cast across her bed. But she couldn't get far, not with Marcus latched onto her. They were a tangle of limbs and she smiled at the fact that they never separated as they slept. But the fucking sun, as much as she wanted to stay snuggled up beside him she had to do something. So she slid out from beneath him and stumbled over to the window to flip the switch to close the shades. Once that was done she pulled on her robe and went to freshen up before Marcus woke up because there was no way she would let him see her morning roughness again.

He was still out by the time she finished so Elle grabbed her phone and went out to the living room to make a few calls to arrange for their day. First things first she had to sneak a peak at his discarded tux to find out what size he wore, then call the front desk to have something casual delivered in his size, along with one of those fluffy guest robes, a shaving kit she hoped he wouldn't use, a toothbrush, and toiletries suitable for a man. While she waited for it to be delivered she decided to make some coffee and by the time she got the french press going there was a knock at the door.

"Bom Dia senhora," the porter said as soon as she opened the door, his eyes roaming down her body.

"Bom dia Octavio. Estamos da mesma altura, não é necessário para os seus olhos para ser tão baixo (Good morning Octavio. We're the same height, there's no need for your eyes to be so low.)," she said with a smirk as she took the bags he offered. Octavio quickly averted his eyes, mumbling something about having a good day.

As quietly as she could, Elle took everything to her room and laid everything out for Marcus. The toiletries in the bathroom, the robe by the bed, and the clothes in the closet. Pleased with herself, she went back for her coffee and called all her favorite shops that offered men's apparel to set up private showing. She made reservations at her favorite resturant, then called her father in an attempt to feel out what he knew of her situation with Marcus but of course he gave nothing away. Elle resigned herself to wait and see. Her stomach was grumbling by the time she was done but one look at Marcus sleeping peacefully, she couldn't wake. But she stood in the doorway a moment to watch him sleep.

"Yup, I pretty sure this is love," she mumbled under her breath.

A few moments later

Marcus woke up, woke up from a peaceful deep slumber the likes of which he hadn’t had since he was a kid. He groaned in pleasure and reached out his large hands pushing across the bed sheets as he tried to find her. His fingers grasped only a cold mattress and he blinked opening his eye and searching for her.

Huh

She wasn’t in bed, he could hear her moving in the living room and sat up intent on joining her. He stopped however noting the garments. I would seem the shopping trip had already begun however instead of nerves or dread he felt him self-feeling buoyant and light excited even. The thought of crossing into uncharted boy friend/ girl friend territory with her was a thrilling concept. He hoped out of bed and grabbed the clothing out of the closet before stepping into the bathroom.

He noticed his new toiletries and the five o clock shadow and began to shave before remembering her comment about scruff. He grinned and left it instead hoping into the shower and using some actual men’s body was to get clean. Once he was out he brushed his teeth and pulled on the charcoal grey button shirt and matching slacks. He opted out of the shoes and put hi black combat boots on lacing them up before giving himself one final check in the mirror. Once he was satisfied he finally stepped out and joined her.

“Good morning” He said stepping down and leaning in he gave her a deep lingering kiss that lasted for several moments before finally detaching and going to get coffee.

“Ugh you’re a angel” He murmured sipping the coffee before starting to make her an omelet “so we still on for today?” He asked as he moved around the kitchen

"Not before you make me breakfast," she said with a giggle as Marcus held her. Elle was surprised he'd gotten all the way dressed, figuring that they might go another round before they went out. But if that happened then they probably wouldn't go anywhere, so with only a slight frown she left him in the kitchen to get herself dressed.

So thought it might be a good idea to show him what a casual Elle looked like. Marcus had seen her in full formal attire and dressed down as Drill but he hadn't seen what she looked like on a day to day basis. She decided on acid washed cut offs that bordered on innappropriate, since he seemed to be fond of her legs. a blue cropped tank top under an open weaved white sweater that hung off her shoulder with sleeves that were just a bit too long. A pair of flip flops showed off her pedicure and a fedora style straw hat would keep the wind from blowing her hair everywhere with the top down. A little lip gloss, some light eyeliner, and her mother's cross, Elle stepped back from the mirror and gave herself a wink before she grabbed her shoulder bag and headed back down to the kitchen.

He put her Omelet on the plate and gabbed her a glass or orange juice. He was just finishing his own and sitting down when she appeared looking stunning as always. He gave a whistle under his breath and turned eyeing her up and down.

“I am regretting getting dressed now” He said leaning in to capture her mouth in a heated kiss. His hands slid up her legs paying them love before he grabbed her ass and pulled her against him aggressively.

“Mmmm and you taste good” He said purring and letting her go “hungry?” He asked pulling her chair out even though his eyes said he was hungry for some thing else entirely.

"Well it's a good thing I opted out of the skirt," she said with a smirk as she sat in the chair he offered her. Starving, Elle wasted no time digging into his omelet before she chuckled a little and looked up at him. "What no pancakes?"

She was only kidding, the omelet was perfect. Fluffy, cheesy, just like she liked it. She couldn't help the little moans that came with every bite or the silly grin that came to her face every time they caught eyes across the table. There was no mention of the words he mumbled in his sleep, Elle figured if it was real he would repeat them. Then maybe she could reply in kind so that he could hear it. See the sincerity in her eyes. And she wouldn't hesitate but still Elle couldn't bring herself to say it first.

"That was delicious," she said after she finished up her last sip of orange juice, then got up to put her arms around in, still sitting in his chair. Elle showered him with soft playful kisses then gave his earlobe a nibble. "But unfortunately it only ranks second on the "things Marcus makes" taste scale," she said with a wink as she pulled away to take the plates to the dishwasher.

"So, you ready for this," she asked, holding out her hand to him.

He snorted shaking his head and getting up. He walked behind her and ran his hands up and down her back before leaning in.

“And that is why I love you babe” He said kissing and nibbling on her ear lobe “because you keep m on my toes” He said giving her ass a firm smack and then holding her hand.

“Yes I meant it” He said kissing her fingers “and yes I am ready to go” He said pulling her over to the door before letting go. He opened the door for her and waited following her out and into the elevator careful to maintain his professional distance.

"Ummm...yeah you said that last night but I thought it was delirium ," she said then squealed at his smack to her ass.

Elle found herself grinning as he took her hand and kissed her fingers. She listened to his explanation but didn't respond until they were in the private elevator that would take them down to the garage.

"I know you mean it," she said glancing at him as she lean on the wall opposite him. "I knew you meant it last night. It's so soon...I mean we barely know each other. Which is crazy because I know I love you too."

And like that the doors opened. Elle dug her keys out of her purse and deactivated the alarm. "Quick question, can you drive stick?"

Marcus laughed taking the keys and smiling brightly at her words “Of course” He replied shooting her a wink before turning on his heel. He walked over to the car and opened her door before deactivating the alarm and stepping

“I am guessing you are navigator then?” He asked raising an eyebrow. He waited for the security gate to lift open and pulled out before hitting the streets of Rio. He knew they weren’t going to the favela’s so he turned instead to the more upscale district. He was so caught up in her that he failed to notice the car trailing them.

Rual’ eyes narrowed watching them and following. He could feel the anger coursing inside of him but he kept it bottled. He didn’t know what this American was doing with the bosses daughter but all he need to do was get some pictures prove it.

Then Elle would be his

"Yup," she said with a smirk as she hit a couple buttons on the dash. One dropped the top the other turned off the gps. "I'm only giving directions to where we're going. You're going to have to find your way back. That's the only way you'll learn you're way around."

"You know this is the first time I've ever been in the passenger seat in this car. I never let anybody drive Alphonse...not even my dad," she said with a smile as she lean back in her seat, enjoying the balmy breeze as it blew in through the open roof and windows.

Elle didn't talk much after that, so as not to distract him as she gave directions. If they were to be partners he would have to be able to get around without her in the event they had to split up to get away from any situation they found themselves in.

Despite the traffic they made it to their first stop in about a half hour and she smiled when she found the "closed" sign in the window. The blinds were drawn so no passersby could see into the windows.

"This my friend Elena's place. Her parents are politicians so she knows well about discretion," she said as she got out of the car. "And I trust her so you can relax a little and enjoy yourself."

He nodded and keep driving making sure to pay attention. The tactical mind that he was still ignoring agreed with her plan even as the boyfriend side smiled at her comment. If she was going to let him drive her car then he needed to do some thing trusting on his part… well he didn’t need to but he wanted to. He kept driving following her directions until they finally pulled up to a shop.

“So I take it we can be a real couple here then” H said getting out and going over to open her door. He didn’t do any thing overtly romantic but a few brief touches of her arm.

“And you should know your the only one I truly relax around” He told her giving her a warm loving smile

He turned opening the door for her and letting her walk inside first.

A bell chimed once the crossed the threshold. Elle pushed the door shut and locked it before she slipped her hand into Marcus'. She looked up at him and smiled, hoping that the contact would be answer enough. Just as she was about to call for her friend, a tall curvy woman swept into the room in a flurry of white linen and nearly waist length jet black hair. She jingling with every step from the bells she wore around her ankles and the bangles of various metals on both wrists. She was the typical Brazilian beauty with dark eyes and sun kissed skin draped over her perfectly hourglass figure. And she greeted them with a wide smile and open arms.

"Eu pensei você estava mentindo irmã. Mas olhando para ele, Posso ver ... (I thought you were lying sister. But looking at him, I can see...)"

"Yeah, yeah he's hot and he understands so can we wait until he's not in earshot to have the homegirl gabfest," Elle interrupted her before she could say anything too embarassing. "Lena, Marcus...Marcus, Lena," she said by way of introduction and the taller sashayed over and grabbed Marcus for the requisite triple kiss before she stepped to Elle and offered the same.

"I could see her smile through the phone," she said with a wink at Marcus as she took his hand and dragged him over to a rack of clothes on the other side of the boutique. "I'm sure you know what a feat that is."

"I'm standing right here," Elle said trailing behind them, but Lena waved her off.

"She pretends as if she doesn't know what a...cadela dura she can be. But still I love her like a sister and would do anything for her, which is why I'm here. She tells me you would like to look a little less American..."

"That's not at all what I said Lena," Elle said with rolled eyes as she sat in one of the comfy arm chairs in front of the curtained off stalls that served as fitting rooms. There was a tray of drinks on the table and Elle helped herself to one, leaving Marcus in the very capable hands of her friend.

"Fine, that's not what she said. But that's what I'm saying. This shirt, these slacks scream tourist and we can't have that. Your body can't breathe with these things and worse you'll never get any sort of glow of the muscles you've got hiding under there. And are those combat boots. Off, everything except the boxers, take it all off."

"Finally something I agree with," Elle said with a wink at Marcus as Lena shoved him into the fitting room.

Marcus walked in shooting Elle a beaming smile. He took in the shops interior and before he could say any thing her friend and the shop owner was coming out. He smiled and nodded his head politely at the beautiful woman watching as they chatted and resisting the urge to laugh. It was nice to see Elle with a friend if only because the concept was strange. He wondered if the girl knew about Drill or was involved and made a mental note to ask her later.

He laughed and let the woman kiss his cheek kissing her back. Before he could turn and say any thing she was dragging him across the room and towards the line of clothing on the far wall.

“Oh she isn’t so bad” Marcus said beaming at her with love “She’s an angel to me” He said giving he a wink before turning to the sales woman.

“If you say so Ma’am” He said trying to keep the smile off of his face at Elle’s words. He grasped his shirt and pulled it up tossing it away before unlacing his boots. He put them and hi socks next to his short and dropped his pants stepping out of them in boxers shaking his ass at Elle before he stepped forward and waited.

"Well I meant inside the room but...aye como pedra," Lena said biting her lip, her eyes lingering at Marcus's package a moment before Elle cleared her throat with a smirk at him.

"I'll be sure to let Mano know of your affinity for hard bodies," Elle teased and Lena looked at her with wide eyes before she rushed over to the rack and began yanking clothes off it. "Yeah that's what I thought."

"I was simply appreciating your taste. There's no need for you to be bring him up," she said without turning but Elle could hear the humor in her voice. "You know he is sensitive about his weight."

"Her boyfriend," Elle explained to Marcus as Lena handed him a short sleeved linen button down and soft cotton tank top. Lena held up a pair of men's capris and Elle shook her head at them. Lena replaced them with a pair of fitted jeans. They weren't skinny but slimmer cut and Elle gave her approval with a thumbs up. "He probably weighs more than the three of us combined and he's been in love with her since we were kids. They call him Leitão..."

"He hates that Elle..."

"I know that's why I said they," she snapped a little but Lena didn't even flinch and Elle continued with her explanation with her eyes on Marcus. "Anyway he's a good guy, a little soft but he treats her like a queen." There was more but Elle decided that it would be better told when they were alone. She and Lena were close but Elle knew she probably wouldn't approve of her activities in the slums, nor would her parents approve of her father's connections to it, even if her boyfriend was the biggest cocaine exporter in Brazil.

He took in the information finding him self strangely hungry. This was a part of her life which meant he was seeing some thing no one else and sure as hell no some other guy had ever seen. He wasn’t usually the type to learn about a girl but as always some thing was different about her. He eagerly ate up every bit of information happily letting the other woman show him some options. He choose the fitted jeans and the linen button down and several other options listening in the entire time.

He finally made his purchases (ignoring the fact she bought them) and got the bags. He waited for her to say her good byes and thanked the woman kissing both of her cheeks several times before finally walking out. He popped the trunk and put them in smiling brightly before turning to her and raising an eyebrow.

“So how do I look?” He said coming over to her and walking with her “do you approve” He asked keeping his voice low

"I much prefer you in nothing but this'll do," she said with a smirk and grabbed his elbow to pull him along to their next destination that was only a few doors down from Lena's shop. She let her fingers linger on his arm a moment longer than it should have but she couldn't help herself, nor the grin that was plastered across her face.

"You need something other than boots or dress shoes and I can't have you walking around with me in common sneakers," she said as she led him into a boutique sneaker store. Everything on display was limited edition. Most women prefer designer shoes, stilettos and the like but Elle was a sneaker junky is there ever was one. There were at least 300 pairs in her closet and some she'd only worn once but she had to have them.

She directed Marcus to a few, pairs that she wanted him to try. All the while forgetting that they were supposed to be discreet about there affection. She found her hand in his on multiple occasions and even tugged on his shirt tails a few times.

He flirted with her back

He didn’t think about it and didn’t care to. The professional side of him was long gone and he was fully centered in the role of a boy friend. He tried on sneakers with her touching her arm pulling and tugging on her own short and scooting on her. He didn’t kiss her which was crazy in a way but he did every thing else under the sun.

And all the while the camera kept clicking

He finally made his way with her back to the car. He pushed the bags in a turned giving her a smile and lightly touching her hand.

“So lunch time?” He asked raising an eyebrow at her “I don’t know about you but I am hungry” He said giving her a handsome smile “and I want to sidle up into a booth with you” He teased.
