Hi, friends!

Here's my question: I'm dipping my toes into Loving Wives because I like the challenge. I'm going to write an April Fool's Day story for LW that's playful but does not end in sex or orgasm outside the marriage. It's a wife who gropes a stranger, 'accidentally' mistaking him for her husband, but she doesn't end up fucking the guy or blowing him. Her husband is watching from afar and enjoys seeing her play, but then they take it back to their own place.

Is it really LW if the wife plays with a guy but doesn't take it very far, with the intent to titillate her husband? Or is that just EC?

Personally, I do what I can to avoid ever needing to post anything in LW, so I'd make the argument that it could fit in EC. Afaik LW really is for explicit sexual contact (oral, vaginal, anal) with someone other than the spouse in some way, which by your own admission your story doesn't include.

It's my understanding that if they have a blowup over the wife's actions, say if the husband stops it before it goes too far and then they split and then get back together, it would please the RAAC faction.

Your story idea would work in LW.

The haters there appreciate monogamous marriages. And the faction which enjoys swinging and sharing also enjoy a sexy couple just having fun with each other.

EDIT: One of my first stories was posted to LW, "He Missed You - 750 Words" was just the couple having their own fun together. It has some good comments, even from the usual haters. But there will always be a few who find flaws. If you look at the 32 comments on that story, you'll get a feel how they might react to yours.

I think it works. You might get some flack about the groping but I'm sure will be readers there who enjoy that sort of thing.

I read that story and, more specifically, the comments. What a wild ride! Thanks for the insight. I'm almost more interested in how people read a story then what I'm writing. And it's a throwaway for scoring. I don't expect anything of value to come out of that.

Wish me luck!

My latest entry there has 50+ votes and it's close to breaking into a 2 star rating, up from around 1.5. Have fun.

No reason why it shouldn't go in LW... The category is broad, by it's title...
What's the worst that could happen???
Write it, and be proud of it. Don't go into it with your eyes closed.
Yes you might get a few nasty comments, but every story posted in LW gets a nasty comment from somewhere...

You have a story to tell... So tell it. Post it wherever the hell you want, and to hell with the haters and nay sayers...

If you enjoyed writing it, and you're proud of it...
Then post it....

Good luck

Sounds like a fun, playful twist for April Fool’s! While it might lean more toward EC since it doesn’t cross the line into full infidelity, it still has that teasing, risqué vibe that could appeal to LW readers. Either way, it’s all about the tension and the dynamic between the couple, sounds like a great story idea! Have fun writing it!
